Harvard University '27; Bachelor and Master's degree candidate in classical languages and ancient Near Eastern languages. My research focus is the translation history of the Hebrew Bible, specifically Greek and Syriac translations.

Introduction to New Testament Greek; Grammar and Syntax

This course is designed to prepare students for reading the Greek of the New Testament, along with other texts written in Koine Greek, e.g. the Septuagint, Josephus, Epictetus, etc. Students will learn grammar, syntax, and vocabulary up to the point of being able to read and analyze Greek texts with the help of a lexicon.

Learning Biblical Hebrew is not only fascinating and a little mysterious, but also allows to address the Judeo-Christian founding texts (and for Abraham even Muslim) in the original language.
Hebrew does not "think" like Indo-European languages.

I am a German, Italian, Biblical Hebrew and Aramaic teacher with a wide international experience. I worked in Italy, Germany, Austria, and since 2018 I have lived and worked in the UK (Edinburgh).
I offer classes both for *individuals* (one-to-one tuition) and for *groups*.
It does not really matter whether you are a complete beginner or have studied the language before, my classes will be the perfect fit! As each person learns in her/his own way, I provide tailored lesson plans to meet your individual needs. I work at your own pace, targeting your desires and problem areas. You will get homework only if you want to.

The first lesson normally is a quick assessment of your existing knowledge. Through chatting and showing you a couple of pictures/games, I can easily infer which level you are at. This process is very useful (and, believe me, it does not hurt! So, do not panic!) because it allows me to draft a learning plan, setting some *milestones* you can/will achieve (which will be reviewed regularly).
