    I am a 500RYT specialized in yin, vinyasa and MFR as well as guided meditation and pranayama (the practice of controlling the breath to hack into the nervous system). I guide my students, beginner to advanced, to find the yoga/wellness practice that meets them where they are. We can explore all methods to discover what makes YOU feel good. A background in MFR (Myofascial release) and body reading means we can use alternative therapy to address chronic health issues like immobility and pain. These sessions will expand and transform your life, one day at a time.

    Specialty: Yoga, Curation and Impact

    Kathryn, also known as KT, brings a lifetime of curiosity for creative expression, education and activism to Centro Calea. She has developed and curated the programming with the belief the each creation offers a space for learning and growth.

    Her passion as a student and guide is in the practice of Yoga. She has spent over a thousand hours of training on various modalities and lineages. Holding an E-RYT500 with Yoga Alliance and Level 1 Integrative Restoration certification, she supports students on their journey in Yoga - finding a path within the chaos and joy of the human experience. KT’s approach to Yoga and wellness is deeply rooted in the philosophical roots of the practice and that its ultimate purpose is to teach of us to be better for each other.

    Her classes at Centro Calea focus on using intelligent movement and breath to tap into deeper sensation of self, offering students a space for personal exploration. KT integrates practices that go beyond the physical, guiding students toward a deeper understanding of the self.. She offers group classes, private sessions, workshops, and retreats, both in-person and remotely.

    Beyond the studio, KT is also an accomplished grant writer, supporting social initiatives, visionary documentarians, and global change makers. Her work has helped shape international dialogue and she is known for her ability to capture meaning and inspire action through her writing.

    KT currently divides her time between Mexico and Europe with her husband, always in search of the wild and wonderful.
