I have a lot of working experience during many years giving courses of the Spanish language at schools, institutions, online and private with students of all ages. After all that years with success and good reviews, I decided last year to start the study for examiner of the Spanish language, and since a few months I also have now my official license to be examiner. Good communication is important for a teacher and I mostly only speak Spanish to my students, even in the beginning. Only when I notice that a student really doesn’t understand where I am talking about, I switch to the local language for a moment.

I am a Econometrics and OR 3rd year student in Maastricht. My study requires a good command in English and Mathematics. I can offer private classes in Linear Algebra, Analysis and Probability Theory. In addition to obtaining good grades, I helped fellow students to understand the subjects better. The tutorials can take place in two ways. If you just have a few specific questions you can send them through email and I will offer answers and explanations when we meet. If you need constant help during your studies or for a failed exam I will first determine your level and make a tutorial plan for your study period. In the second case I will always give free trial lesson to see if we will be productive.

As a native Spanish speaker I am, I offer particular Spanish classes for people of any level. Since the methodology I use is based essentially in conversation but also in useful resources and dynamic activities to develop oneself's skills, I can easily adapt the class to the student's need. From my experience, I have realized a language can only be learnt by acquiring the need to speak it. In addition to my Baccalaureate (Mention bien), I also studied political science in Paris (Panthéon-Assas) for a year. In short, I know where the trouble lies as a Dutch person in learning French. I passed the IB diploma program for Biology Standard Level with full marks, I also received a 7 on my Internal Assessment (IA). I have a very good grasp on what the IB expects from it's students (all the weird and wonderful little criteria.) I have a very good grasp on Biology the subject itself, as it was one of my favorite classes and I understand the concepts on a broader and more minute scale, so I can help students to understand the topics as well as the specifics and how they all play into one another. I aim to provide students with not just the memorization of information in a somewhat robotic sense, but an actual understanding and comfortable grasp on all the topics, ideas and concepts. I can help with any homework or course work provided, including providing feedback and guidance on essays and assignments. I also like to set out extra homework (not difficult, just based on our sessions) to get back to me at the next meeting so that the student's confidence and grasp on the subjects continues to build and I can see where exactly they need assistance. NB: prior to our meetings, if possible, I would appreciate being sent whatever course work or topics the student is currently doing in class (or the syllabus, in the best case scenario) in order to best maximize my planning and ability to assist.

I am offering tutoring in mathematics and physics for school children and bachelor students. I have recently completed my bachelors at the Maastricht Science Programme with focus on physics and have experience in tutoring. I can hold classes online (teams/zoom) at the students house in Maastricht or at my house.
