Music Theory - From the Basics of Music to Advanced Concepts

I am a friendly and experienced tutor who can help younger kids and adults get started with music for the first time! Music is such an amazing way of expressing yourself and once you learn the basics you'll realise you won't be able to do without it:) I always strive to create a fun and relaxed environment where each student can feel at ease to progress at their own pace. I have experience teaching younger and older kids and adults. I have done my A levels this year and I am grade 8 violin and have done my DipABRSM in piano.

Everyone is musical to learn music! I offer instrumental lessons for piano and Guzheng to students of all ages and backgrounds, regardless of your level of proficiency. Whether you prefer classical or pop music, you will find something that suits your taste. I also provide lessons Western music theory ranging from Grade 1 to Grade 8, as well as Chinese music theory lessons. You can also opt to take Graded examinations for international recognition of your progress in music. I am proud to say that my students have a 100% passing rate. I am a Spanish pianist and composer (MMus graduate from Codarts Rotterdam in both directions) with many years of teaching experience, and also very active in performing in various contexts. I give private piano lessons for all levels and styles (classical, jazz, Latin, new age, pop...), as well as music theory, composition and improvisation lessons. My lessons are distinguished by their dynamics, practical approach and adaptation to the needs and interests of the student. The lessons (live or online) take place in my studio next to the Maastunnel, where I have a premium stage piano and a top-quality webcam setup. I speak Dutch at an intermediate level, which is improving every day.

The older I get, the more I love. Especially during these times of immense ugliness and hate, wars and conflict, music- that's always been all about love - is the home I keep returning to. Hey! My name is Richard and I give private lessons to all levels. For guitar, it is important that you can improve yourself in a pleasant environment in a fun way where your interests are central. Do you want to delve deeper into a certain style? Do you want to create your own sound on your guitar using amps, and pedals, ...? I can help you with all that! Knowledge of solfège or music theory is not required, we can always discuss this in class if you wish, but that is certainly not mandatory ;) I have been playing the guitar since I was 9 years old and for several years now I have been playing in professional bands with which I have been able to play on sugar rock, for example. The lessons would take place at my home in Mol or via webcam. If necessary, we can always agree on something else.
