Piano lessons for children and adults in The Hague!

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. There will be enough distance between the student and the teacher. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

Hello! I am a classical pianist with a Master's degree at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag. I have taught Piano (and also Music Education) since 2016, to both children and adults. Teaching allows me to bring my passion and enthusiasm for music to the students, and I also find it incredibly rewarding to guide and follow their musical and technical development! I am easily adaptable to the student's musical tastes and expectations/goals in music learning, and I am also very mindful of how I communicate, according to the students' ages and personalities. Hello to all of you! My name is Antonio and I come from Spain. I have been living in the Netherlands for 3 years already. I am currently in my last year of my bachelor's degree in jazz flute. I finished my master's degree in classical flute performance 3 years ago. I offer this course to awaken the interest of all flute players that there is something beyond classical music, such as jazz, latin, flamenco, brazilian music, funk... and all kinds of fusions, and I am willing to teach you all about it apart from theory lessons. I am Anna, a cellist working as a freelance cello teacher and performer in The Hague. I am a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York and the Royal College of Music in London, and I recently finished my studies at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in The Hague, on both modern and baroque cello. If you are interested in learning the instrument and more about classical music in general, you can contact me with any questions. My lesson will depend on each student's goal. If you are a student who wants to learn an instrument as a hobby and has never had contact with an instrument before, I will teach you the basics (from holding the violin and bow and playing easy tunes on the violin to teaching how to read notes and rhythms). If you are a student with years of experience and already know the basics, I can help you with the repertoire you are playing, or give you and prepare new pieces with you, I will help you improve your practice sessions and help you prepare auditions or performances. My name is Adrian and I am a drummer with 8 years of playing under my belt, including 3 years of professional experience. I am primarily a jazz, funk, and soul drummer with a traditional education who also has experience playing in concert percussion and marching bands. I teach music theory, technique, and several styles using visual and auditory materials. However, my lessons are primarily catered towards the learning goals and musical aspirations of the student.

As a baroque trumpeter, I have performed with The Sebastians, the Philadelphia Bach Collegium, with members of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, and with the Jeune Orchestre de l’Abbaye and Philippe Herreweghe at the Festival de Saintes. While attending Curtis Institute of Music, my colleagues and I won first prize at the National Trumpet Competition (USA) in the trumpet ensemble division. As a passionate advocate for music education and arts access, I served as an ArtistYear fellow, teaching sixty-five recorder students at Powel Elementary School in Philadelphia during the 2016-17 school year. I have also served as a teaching artist for Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Philadelphia’s Play on Philly. As a founding member of The Brass Project from 2016-2018, I premiered over thirty new works written for the ensemble. During this time The Brass Project was featured by Santa Fe Pro Musica, at National Sawdust, and at Music from Angel Fire. Our debut album, “Cityscaping,” released in December 2018. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in baroque trumpet at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. I earned an Artist Diploma at the Curtis Institute of Music, and a bachelor’s degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.
