Do you like music? Are you thinking about playing the flute? Or are you already a flute player and you wish to become advanced? Do you need someone to help you to prepare for music exams? I am offering lessons in playing the traverse modern flute as well as historical flutes and music theory at any level, from the beginner to the professional. This course, based on more than 10 years of experience in teaching, offers private lessons where everyone can find their unique contact with their instrument, deepen their relationship with music and develop a unique way of expressing themselves through music making. I teach from international method books and adjust my methods to the individual needs of each student. Taking two courses of the Alexander technique also helped me to develop an understanding of the essential connection between the body and our minds. This awareness can be very helpful not only for our musical performances, but also for our everyday lives. I believe that my already 10 years of teaching practice has shaped my teaching into a stage where everyone can learn what they need. I am looking forward to meeting you in my course!

I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7. After years of training, I am currently continuing my violin studies at Utrecht Conservatory. I have also attended music theory classes for 6 years because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.

The class is for: - beginners who want to start their journey in music - intermediary musicians who wish to improve their skills - for highly educated musicians who want to perfect their knowledge. The class includes songwriting skills in POP, ROCK, JAZZ and many other styles of popular music as well as compositional skills in writing CLASSICAL, FILM, THEATER music. I specialize in both popular music and classical music. The class includes both theoretic knowledge and its practical application with students instrument of choice. The class also includes skills in guitar, piano and percussion playing.

There are two grand pianos at the location in Den Haag. For children, it is important to develop basic musical skills through Singing, Rythmique, and Ear training besides piano playing. I use one technical exercise book, the main textbook, and a theory book. Through these 3 books, students learn different aspects of music and they naturally get ready for exams and grades. After acquiring basic skills, students study Harmony and Chord exercises too. These are useful for playing pops and jazz, and they obtain a deeper understanding of classical pieces too. Private Piano lesson, from age 4 and above. Children can start the lesson after being able to read the numbers from 1 to 5 and the alphabet from A to G. Advanced students who want to prepare for competitions, auditions, ABRSM, GCSE, IB exams, or the entrance exam of the conservatory. The concert is held annually together with students of flute, violin, and composition teachers. For the ages 1-7 years, I have group Rhythmique lessons.

I am a French historical and modern horn player based in The Hague. I have played the Horn since I was 4 years old and I have two Master's degrees in modern horn and natural horn. I offer you lessons on modern and historical instruments, as well as music theory. I work with all ages, all levels, and all objectives, and I can even work with other brass. If you want to discover the instrument or perfect it, if you need theory support or practice help, I will adapt my methods to your needs to offer you quality musical time! I have taught children and adults since 2017, and I truly love leading people their way to enjoyable, musical, and informed brass playing. My lessons include warmups, technique, working on pieces of various repertoire, playing in duo with me, and more. Enthusiastic guitar tutor and performer. I started playing classical guitar at the age of 6, and my formal musical education began at the age of 9 when I started attending a music school in Croatia. After 6 years of primary school, I continued studying classical guitar at a secondary music school in Varazdin, Croatia. During that period I received training in classical harmony, Counterpoint (polyphony), Solfeggio, Music history and gained plenty of experience in orchestral playing and choral singing. I decided to continue my musical education in Manchester where I was studying for an undergraduate degree at the Royal Northern College of Music and currently I am studying at the Royal Conservatoire in the Hague. As a performing guitarist, I have successfully participated and won prizes in a number of international competitions in the UK, Italy, Croatia, Slovenia and Bosnia and Hercegovina. Although my studies are primarily related to classical music, I am comfortable playing and performing music in a range of other styles and genres. I am also experienced with mandolin and Croatian folk instrument called tamburitza.

Hello there! Welcome to my profile. I am Rui and I teach piano. The piano is known as the most complete musical instrument of all. This is because when playing it we can get all kinds of characters and sounds: very deep basses or super soft high notes; delicate melodies or dense harmonies (almost like an orchestra sometimes). This is one of the reasons why I love to play the piano, its versatility adapts to my everyday mood. I would love to show you the wonders we can create with this amazing instrument! Lessons Every student is different, and by saying this I mean that I prepare every lesson specifically for each student. Some might be more shy, others might need more time to acknowledge some questions. I believe that music (much like everything else) should be taught with patience and motivation. You shouldn’t feel like you’re going against time, it should be the opposite. As a teacher, I always give priority to your motivation and excitement regarding the lesson’s activity. If I see that a student is not enjoying the lesson I have to improvise and turn it around. When teaching, the most important thing for me is that you learn while having fun. I have already some years of experience in giving piano lessons to people of all ages. I adapt the lesson content for every student individually, and I always give them the freedom to follow their musical taste and instincts. I also give a lot of focus to creativity and improvisation. At the end of the lesson, I usually save a few minutes for the student to decide what he/she wants to do: maybe a little 4-hand improvisation, or maybe play a piece they have already learned and that they enjoy playing. About me Most of my studies and experience as a teacher took place in Portugal. I completed my Bachelor's Degree in Piano Performance in 2020. I moved to The Netherlands in 2020 to attend the Master Program in Classical Piano Performance in the Royal Conservatoire of The Hague. My academic studies were built on classical music but I also have some experience in pop and rock music. I hope this motivates you to study piano with me! Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.

Highly dedicated and passionate teacher. Age does not matter when it comes to learning, just enjoying it. Lessons for beginners to more advanced students. Always trying to keep a creative environment where the students can express themselves in all aspects. I believe that it is necessary to be constant. The ideal would be one hour or hour and a half a week, but that depends on the student availability. I would provide a personal adaptation. I like playing games, singing and coming up to most creative solutions for learning fast inside of a save space for questions and imagination of the student. It is very important to motivate the students regarding to their music tastes. I consider myself an involved and motivated musician. I am constantly trying to learn new styles and enjoy so much doing it. At the moment I am studying my second bachelor degree in music, specifically in Early Music. I am very flexible with schedules for lessons so coming to a common point should not be very difficult.

My name is Carla Peña and I come from Barcelona. Since I was a child, music has played an important role in my life. I started learning music when I was 4 years old and cello when at the age of 6. I discovered my love for music and that is what I share with my students. I have around 15 pupils of all levels and ages and I teach at my own studio (De Constant Rebecquestraat 3) or at your place! If you are in The Hague area and you want to learn the cello or improve your playing, you are welcome to do lessons with me! FIRST LESSON: The first lesson consists of getting to know each other. This is essential to choose the best teaching approach. All the students are unique, that is why I always choose the method that adapts better to your needs. Then, we elaborate a personal plan, depending on your level, expectations, practice time, and taste. TECHNIQUE: Learning the proper technique of the instrument is very important to avoid injuries and to be able to express ourselves and perform our musical ideas in a successful way. That is why we learn nice songs in different styles, depending on your taste (from classical to jazz, film music, pop, etc.) and we combine it with cello method books with progressive exercises to improve the cello knowledge. In the case of young beginners, we also play cello games during the lesson to make the learning experience dynamic and fun! Children can lose attention and get bored very quickly! Playing together is an essential part of enjoying music. Therefore, the last part of the lesson always consists of playing cello duets and having fun! ABOUT ME: I studied my Bachelor in Conservatori Superior del Liceu in Barcelona, with professor Amparo Lacruz. Then, I decided to continue my studies at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague in the class of Michel Strauss and Jan-Ype Nota. During my studies in The Hague, I did a teaching internship at the Royal Conservatory as a part of their Minor in Music Education. I also taught in several Music Schools during my studies in Spain. Currently, I teach private students in The Hague and I created a cultural center in The Hague called Pandora Studio. I play regularly in two chamber music ensembles: Trio Jakob and Azalaïs Quartet.

I'm a professionally educated bass guitarist and teacher from Hungary, currently residing in The Hague with a freshly earned Master's degree from the Royal Conservatoire. As an active musician since 2014, I've played in a variety of musical settings, from solo performances to big bands and orchestras. My musical pursuits span across jazz (free and fusion), metal, repetitive minimal music, and contemporary classical genres. Beyond performing, I'm deeply passionate about teaching. I began sharing my knowledge during my bachelor's studies and have continued ever since. In addition to bass, I've extensively studied composition and theory. Teacher at Strijkdomain (The Hague), Conservatory in The Hague, Vuurvlinderschool, Geldelandschool en a Het Klooster (Woerden). I was under the tutelage of the great violin pedagogue Mr. Mauricio Fuks at Indiana University (USA) for 3 consecutive years (2018-2021) becoming his teaching assistant for 3 years (2018-2021). Moreover, I have taught young violinists in Elementary Schools, (e.g. Fairview Elementary School) and also collegiate students in the Jacobs School of Music (US). In Spain, I have teaching experience in several music schools instructing violinists ranging from 3 to 70 years of age. I have also worked with ADHD and autistic students with a great passion for violin playing and music-making. I hold a master's in Violin Performance at the Koninklijk Conservatorium Den Haag and in Psychology and Music (UNED). I have an excellent command of English, and Dutch and a good working knowledge of French. I base my teaching method on Suzuki and Galamian methods, which I combine with a wide repertoire of progressive violin pieces. Come and have a lesson with me!
