I am Laura Pérez, a Spanish girl living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping other high school students since 2014 as a private tutor. The last year I got hired as a English teacher in two different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) where I developped my teaching skills with children between 3 and 10 years old.

In December 2019 I obtained a Spanish Teaching certificate by Tia Tula, a school certified by Instituto Cervantes, so I started giving Spanish lessons as a Spanish tutor for children, adults and elderly people. These lessons were from all the levels (A1 to C2) and disciplines (talking, writing, listening tasks). Depending on the goal, the learning or lesson method is different. Normally, the first day I meet the student and we talk about what he or she expects and the topics we need to pay more attention. From that, I organise and structured plan for reaching the desired goals.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. I work as a Spanish teacher since 2019 in various countries, helping numerous students to improve their speaking, listening and writing skills.

I studied Nutrition and Dietetics (4 years bachelor) at Complutense University of Madrid. Later and determined by my love for languages, I completed the BA in Linguistics in Leiden University, following the Brain and Cognition specialization, which focuses in how language and second languages learning works in a neural level.

Depending on the goal, the learning or lesson method is different. Normally, the first day I meet the student and we talk about what he or she expects and the topics we need to pay more attention. From that, I organise and structure a learning plan for reaching the desired goals (listening, speaking, writing, etc) or level (A1, A2, B1, B2, C1, C2).

I am a qualified teacher of Spanish as a Foreign Language from the University of Alcala de Henares and have a degree in Translation (English and German). I have been teaching Spanish to students with different levels and nationalities for many years. I offer low-cost and high quality lessons adapted to the real needs of each individual student and CONVERSATION is guaranteed. We practice SPEAKING everything you learn.
Courses: I offer general Spanish courses, for specific purposes (business, tourism, etc.), also preparation courses for the DELE examination and EPSO exam (language test for EU Commission employees). My lessons can be one to one, two to one or in a group (maximum 4 students), in person or via Skype.
All of my Spanish courses are adapted to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEF or CEFR): beginner (A1, A2), intermediate-advanced (B1, B2) and proficiency (C1, C2).
The first lesson is always focused on getting to know each other, assessing your level and knowing your preferences and needs.

I am a French and English tutor. I was born and raised in France consequently it is my mother tongue. However, I lived in England for 3 years and therefore I am fluent in English. Additionally, in England I studied law and therefore I have a solid knowledge of legal English that allows me to share my knowledge with my students.

I believe the best way to learn a language and progress is by practicing it first, orally, through formal or informal conversations and then balancing this out with practicing one's writing skills.

This class is aimed for anyone who is interested in learning Spanish or Catalan. For all the people, being young or adult, just beginning or already having some knowledge of the language, this is your class.
