Practicing classical guitar for 27 years, graduated from the National Conservatory of Limoges, I teach guitar (beginner to advanced levels). My method is distinguished by a perfect combination of high standards and attention paid to the pleasure of playing. Passionate about music theory (rhythms, musical notations and other aspects that seem tedious to many), I know how to transmit this taste for musical technique. The pleasure of play develops when you feel your progress, and these come with regular work. I therefore ask for attendance and regularity of at least 1 hour of practice per day. Maxime was very responsive online and we were easily able to setup a time and place, and he was on time for our first class. The class itself was great. He was prepared, and clearly has experience teaching, having cited various methods, and selected one that he felt was most appropriate for my age, interests and level.
