AletheaViolin Lessons for children, adults, or anyone who wants to learn the violin!
I started taking violin lessons at the age of 7, and have been playing the violin for 15years. I am currently continuing my violin studies at a Conservatory. I have also attended music theory class for 6 years, because it is very useful to have some knowledge of it when playing any instrument. If you would like, I would be more than happy to share some knowledge of music theory along with the violin lessons. Lessons are private and not in groups.
JessicaSinging/Voice Lessons & Beginner Music Theory Lessons
I teach private singing lessons to children, teenagers, and adults in English (for now) and beginner music theory for all ages. Due to the current situation with COVID-19, I am teaching online only. There is no extra cost to the student and you don't have to leave the comfort of your home to have a fun time! I have 20 years experience as a performer and 10 years of teaching experience and have a passion for sharing music with others through music education. I believe that singing is a joyful expression of each unique voice and person. My teaching philosophy is to nurture students to have a fun and positive relationship with music no matter the level or age. My focus on a classical vocal technique gives the student a clear understanding of vocal technique, including: breathing techniques, pitch control, musicality and the knowledge to explore any genre of song. Basic music theory, rhythm, diction, sight-reading and ear training are also taught to the student to support a well rounded musical experience. I also teaches students how to practice, giving them the tools to feel confident in their own learning process. Absolute beginners are welcome! For online course, piano tracks are provided for you to sing along with during the lesson and we have a lot of fun together.

JamesSong Writing Lessons by experienced songwriter and composer
I am a 28-year old guitarist, songwriter and composer based in Den Haag, songwriting, composition, electric and acoustic guitar, in combination with music theory. I teach in English or in Greek. I am half Greek and half Scottish and I have been living in the Netherlands for the last 4 years. I offer lessons in all styles, to all age groups, and for any experience level (ranging from students who have never written a song before, up to experienced songwriters who are looking for fresh ideas and improving their skills to really make their songs shine). Face to face lessons are preferable, but I also teach online. I am a patient and open minded teacher, and my desire is to help you learn what you want to learn, and make sure you enjoy and take pride in your songs, learn to express your musical ideas as best as possible and nurture your curiosity and excitement about the world of music creation ! My Credentials: I hold a Bachelors of Music degree from Birmingham Conservatoire (UK), and a Masters of Music from The Hague Royal Conservatory. My experience as a songwriter and composer ranges from writing songs and singing in indie / off-beat rock bands, solo guitar and vocal performances, home-production of my own songs, creation of instrumental post-rock music, collaborative songwriting in bands, composition of works for classical players, creation of ambient, experimental and electronic music, creation of music for film, and I even some experience in beat-making. I have written songs, I have written orchestra pieces, I have worked as a DIY home producer, I have released albums, and I've performed in concert halls, rock venues, squats and festivals. I My music has been performed in and has taken me to several countries, including Portugal, The Czech Republic, The U.S.A., Canada, Korea, Greece, The U.K., The Netherlands. My Teaching style: My emphasis is to teach you based on your interests and your needs. The lessons are based around each individual student. You bring me the music you are creating and the skills you want to develop as a songwriter, and I build my lessons around that. My primary goal is help you develop your voice as a songwriter, so the starting point for our lessons will always be your music, and then I build our lessons around that. My aim is always to help you find what the heart of the song is about, and help you to bring this out and really make it shine. To help illustrate ideas about topics we discuss I will bring examples that can help inform the music you are creating, we will explore ideas of arrangement, orchestration, band leading and / or production to help flesh out your songs, and we will explore music theory too when that is helpful for us and / or if that is interesting to you. For more experienced songwriters we can explore how to write parts for other players, how to notate and orchestrate songs for acoustic instruments, how to record songs, or how to get the best playing out of your bandmates to help your song shine

AlbertoTrombone lessons in Utrecht with Alberto. One of the MOST VERSATILE instruments!
Playing the trombone is so exciting. Many genres to explore! Are you looking to start learning the trombone? Perhaps you already play for some years but want to improve your technique, breathing skills, or learn a new genre? I am Alberto, and I will help you achieve your musical goals with a tailor-made program. My approach is to find suitable music for your technical and expressive level and work specifically on the challenges that it represents. Music is for everyone! Kids and adults Perhaps you want to surprise your couple playing a bossa-nova. Or maybe you want to become the next solo trombone at the Concertgebouw Orchestra. Everyone has different goals when playing the trombone, it is my job to help you achieve them. If you don't have clear objectives yet, I will be guiding you and exploring the possibilities of trombone playing with you. Also, especially for kids, I can help you find a nice pBone. They are lightweight plastic trombones made with great quality and available in different colours! Good technique, and a lot of fun The most important lesson I have learned in my career is that making good music is only possible when you enjoy the process. Of course, good technical skills are crucial but studying exercises that you find boring is not the best way up to proficiency. Instead, finding your unique best approach to improve your skills will get you to the moon! For improving your tempo awareness, would you practice with a metronome or would you rather use a drumbeat sample? Your health is important! Body awareness and breathing techniques Not only wind players benefit from doing sport, acquiring good posture habits, and being aware of their breath. It helps everyone in every single aspect of their lives. A good breathing technique will let you play easily, run for a longer period of time, or sleep better at night. On the other hand, body posture awareness helps with productivity and saves money on the fysio. Life hacks that you cannot miss! Improvisation and open-mindedness That very feeling of creating art on the spot. Only a few experiences can relate to it. When we explore and create, our flow state gets triggered. We are fully immersed in the activity and the world surrounding us vanishes. If you like, we will go on a journey discovering new emotions, colours, sounds, harmonies, textures, styles, genres. And improvising on them. Let's get creative! Technology in music. Recording and producing Let's face it, we are in the 21st century and the possibilities of technology are endless in the audiovisual field. Recording for auditions, producing and releasing your first single, live looping, use of effects... You can learn all that with me. Are you curious? Book your lesson now! Ok but, how will my lessons look like? Breathing practice is one of the best ways to start warming up. It will take the first 5 minutes of your lesson and your body will be prepared to start playing. Then, we would go into working on your specific goals. Perhaps, we are practicing music that demands improvement on the higher register, maybe we are working out different scales for improvisation, or it might be the case that you want to discover a new genre and go deep into it. Reading music, ear training, phrasing, music theory, buzzing and embouchure position, articulations (legato, staccato, accents), dynamics... These are only an indication of what we might work on. The final minutes of your lesson will be the moment to relax. We can get creative, play some tunes together, improvise, or even talk about a specific topic like musicality, art, creativity, technique, theory, or the music industry for instance. Group lessons and ensembles Making music alone is fun, but playing with people brings it to the next level! If you like the idea, I will bring you together with other fellow students for technique workshops, jam sessions, duo with piano, or whatever other activity we might find interesting for you. When and where I offer flexibility in my schedule so your trombone lessons fit into your agenda. I can come to your place, or perhaps you prefer visiting my teaching room in Utrecht. I will have some coffee or tea waiting for you. Online trombone classes Online has become a new trend. I will help you set up your equipment and focus on what is important, music. Book a lesson now! Alberto, the eclectic brass player based in Utrecht I am a brass performer and teacher that has performed in classical and modern music ensembles for more than 15 years. Enrico•Learn how to play saxophone, improvise on your favorite song and bases of Music Armony
I'm 24 years old and I joined the world of Music when I was 6. I got the degree in Cassical Saxophone 2 years ago in the Conservatory of Music of Mantova (Italy) and now I'm studying Jazz&Pop in the Conservatory of Utrecht (Netherlands). I've played many concert in Italy and Europe with many different formations: classic Orchestra and Ensemble (Ensemble of saxophone of Mantova), quartet of saxophones (Sax Fever), many different bands, Big Band (Dixiebell Orchestra of Garda, Utrecht BigBand)... •THE GOAL of my lessons is make people enjoy this beautiful form of art. Like when you sing playing saxophone required a total connection between our body and our mind with the horn. As our clarinet friends always remind us, Saxophone is not one of the most difficult wind intrument but an improper embrasure or a wrong breathing can create a wall between our musical ideas and the instrument. •In my lessons I want to work as first on the sound. If the sound is good Saxophone has the power to enchant audience with just one note. Playing long note is a good exercise in this sense, and more natural and relaxed is the embrasure and the body, more easily will be making a good sound. •We'll improve the knowledge of Music Armony working directly on the songs that you love. We will start by transcribe them by ear and then we'll go deeper into the armony and chords. The aim is start to improvise on them and create your own repertoire. •On the other side we will work on reading music. This skill has a primary importance if you want to join all kind of band in the city. •If you are a student that want to enter in the conservatory, classic or jazz, I have a lot of experience in these kind of auditions, so we can focus our practise toward this porpuse. •Music make the mind free and EVERYBODY can play, it's just a matter of practise and listening. If you think that Saxophone is your instrument What are you waiting for!?!? Let's play some Music togheter;)

DimosSaxophone Lessons - The pleasure of learning the best musical instrument!
The three goals I have as a teacher is first to have fun with it and have a light pleasant lesson that is something we both look forward to. Second,is to convey in the best way what being a musician amateur or professional and performing music is about and finally to help students with understanding the saxophone, the endless possibilities of the instrument with its different sound colors, dynamics and wide range of techniques but also how simple and enjoyable it can be but demanding when attempting to master every detail. For me, it's the best instrument in the world. The lesson consists of different parts to cover in every lesson a number of different aspects of playing to keep improving every week. See you in class!
