I am an Italian language teacher for adults and children. During my academic career I became passionate about teaching Italian to foreigners and after a course dedicated to teaching I obtained the CEDILS certification, this has allowed me to develop different experiences of teaching Italian at schools and at the University of Copenhagen. My approach to teaching is first of all COMMUNICATIVE, this does not mean neglecting aspects such as grammar or syntax, but it means starting to LIVE EXPERIENCE of the language from the first lessons. For the past two decades, I've had the privilege of tutoring in both French and English. My students have ranged in age, background, and origin, spanning children, teenagers, adults, professionals, and even seniors aged 85 and above. You might wonder why I teach both languages. Well, I am bilingual, with American and Swiss/French roots, and I currently reside in Ireland. This unique blend of experiences equips me with a strong and relevant teaching approach. I possess an intimate understanding of both cultures, enabling me to tailor my classes to the specific needs of my students. My teaching journey began during my time studying social work in French-speaking Switzerland. Even after graduating and embarking on a full-time career, I couldn't bear to give up this rewarding activity. These lessons kick off with two different coaching sessions in order to speed up the process of becoming more successful in a chosen career or set goals to be accomplished.
