I am a professional full-time Chinese Mandarin teacher from the North of China where Mandarin comes from. I have been teaching for about 10 years as a teacher. As someone who can speak 5 languages fluently, I have over the years grasped the best way to efficiently learn new languages. This class is for students who require assistance with editing academic or other work. My goal is to improve the English content of students' written work as well as grammar. I will provide constructive feedback to enable students to develop their writing. This class will be offered for GCSE English onwards and includes university dissertations and other pieces of written work.

Applications for English at Oxford and Cambridge both involve a written assessment, both of which I provide expert tutoring and guidance in as a first-class Classics and English graduate from Oxford. English at Oxford uses the English Literature Admissions Test to decide who will be invited for interview, whereas at Cambridge only candidates shortlisted for interview will be required to take a written assessment. Both tests require detailed and thoughtful responses to literary extracts, which I will help develop your thinking and writing for. Applicants are also required to submit two pieces of written work prior to interview, which I am able to advise about if requested.
