High quality Spanish classes. Experienced teacher. My name is Luciano and I was born in Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have been teaching Spanish for more than 15 years and I have worked in several institutes and embassies as a teacher and cultural bridge. I am currently living in Berlin where I am developing a personal project and working as a teacher online and in face-to-face classes. Normally I am interested in generating a creative bond with my students and that is why I work with many of them for relatively long periods of time. In the classes I am interested in having a solid grammar structure but the emphasis is on conversation. In this way I feel that a rich and interesting interaction is generated where, honestly, I myself learn from my students‘ experiences and points of view. I am convinced, as a language learner myself, that learning a language is not simply a tool for communication. I feel that to learn another language is to open oneself to another code or way of thinking and perceiving the world. For example, Romance languages (Spanish, Italian, French, etc.) think and feel the world in a different way than Germanic languages (English, German, etc.) I am fascinated by these differences and similarities. Traveling in Japan, I could only admire the beauty of how we represent the world through our language. I feel that in a world that is becoming increasingly depersonalized and where artificial intelligence and algorithms seem to creep into every corner of our lives, maintaining human, imperfect and warm contacts is a form of resistance. In that sense, both in my project with sacred languages such as philosophy and astrology and in language classes, I try to maintain the human dimension and respect the beauty and multidimensionality of communication. Apart from my background in philosophy at university, I am interested in art, politics, culture as an expression of an epoch, psychoanalysis, comparative religions, etc. In this context, with many of my more advanced students we work with texts and films where our interests intersect. For the more beginning classes the emphasis is also on conversation, but with a grammatical framework and progression. That is why I am interested in understanding the students‘ objectives. Whether learning for pleasure or for a trip, to take an international exam or for cultural reasons, I believe that framing the classes in a structure allows the creative to emerge. If you are interested in the approach and are curious, feel free to contact me for a no charge introduction where we can discuss a lesson plan after assessing your level. Thank you for your attention. If you know anyone who might be interested in this approach please share it.

Every student gets an individual plan — I don't use a one-size-fits-all programme. In our first session, I assess where your child stands: which topics are solid, which have gaps, and how they handle exam-style questions. This shapes everything that follows. We don't waste time on material they already understand. For students in Year 7–9, I focus on building strong foundations, keeping up with classwork, and making sure small gaps don't turn into big problems later. If your child has recently moved from another school system, I help bridge the differences between what they learned before and what their new school expects. For IGCSE and GCSE students (Year 10–11), lessons are focused on exam preparation: past papers under timed conditions, exam technique, mark scheme analysis, and targeted work on weak topics. I teach students how examiners award marks — understanding the difference between method marks, accuracy marks, and follow-through marks can raise a grade significantly. For IB students (Year 12–13), I cover both Analysis & Approaches and Applications & Interpretation at SL and HL. I also help with the Internal Assessment — from choosing a topic to structuring the exploration and meeting all five assessment criteria. The IA counts for 20% of the final grade and is where many students need the most guidance. Lessons are 60 or 90 minutes, conducted online via video call with a shared digital whiteboard. I'm also available for in-person lessons if you're in Berlin. Most students work with me once or twice per week during term, increasing to two or three times per week before exams. I offer a free 30-minute introductory session so we can discuss your child's needs and see if we're a good fit — no commitment.

Salut! :) I am a French and English native speaker, currently studying DigitaI Business in Berlin. I also speak German, Spanish, and am learning Norwegian. I believe the best way to learn a language is to speak it, therefore our lessons will be focused on conversation, personally adjusted to your level and your ambitions! What I like to do is to have themed lessons: We will choose a topic together and I will give you a small exercice to prepare. In the lesson we will then chat about the chosen theme, have some activities, games and go over the exercice you prepared. I have taught myself Spanish and German, so I know first-hand what the difficulties of learning a language can be and how to find the correct solutions to reach your objectives. That's why I also take good care in creating an environment where it is ok to make mistakes, and where we always understand each other. A bit more about me : I grew up in France and went to school in Monaco, where I studied in both French and English. After getting my high school diploma, I worked as a private English teacher for a year, giving classes to young and not so young French students. I then moved to Berlin for Bachelor studies. I am a very curious person, so I have a multitude of different interests, and in general love to talk and learn about everything.

My interests include : music, sports, literature, filmmaking, business (in particular sustainability), psychology, among many others. I am excited to accompany you in the beautiful language journey you have ahead! :)

German below - I started learning piano at the age of five and was lucky enough to work with the same teacher for thirteen years. During my university years at the University Mozarteum Salzburg and the University of the Arts Berlin, I had the chance to experience different teachers and approaches to music. Through this, I came to understand how important it is to find a teacher you connect with, and how our needs can change throughout our musical journey. In my teaching, I prioritize giving my students the tools they need to become independent musicians themselves: knowing how to practice effectively, improving their sight-reading skills (which opens up an entire library of music), understanding their own strengths and areas where they can improve, and building a solid foundation of basic music theory as far as it is relevant for their piano playing. A typical lesson looks like this: we start with a warm-up, review the previous week's practice, work on current repertoire, and set clear goals for the week ahead. I focus on helping students approach new music with more understanding and confidence. At the same time, I feel that individuality can sometimes be overlooked in the process of improving as musicians. For me, it is equally important to leave space for creativity, through improvisation, exploring different interpretation options, listening to different recordings, and discovering different repertoire or musical styles. Drawing is a natural skill for everyone; but if you are looking for a more artistic approach for this practice, you can count on me! During my classes you will learn techniques to upgrade your level of drawing to have a more naturalistic way of representation. I will teach you how to observe shapes and tones, to loose your hand, to improve the quality of your strokes, and I will focus in anatomical drawing by teaching you the easiest way to get the right proportions and being able to draw a person with or without a model. But you can also bring your own interests! We will use pencil, pen, and charcoal. I currently study a Master in New Media Design in Berlin, and I studied my bachelor in the most important school of arts in Mexico. I’ve been drawing professionally for 16 years, and have experience in art teaching for children and adults in several workshops, as well as working independently for painting and mural painting commissions.
