Trusted teacher: As an experienced IB teacher, I have developed a teaching approach that is focused on helping students engage with and excel in the IB program. My approach is centered on the following: Active learning: I believe that students learn best when they are actively engaged in the learning process. In my IB classes, I use a variety of teaching methods and activities to promote active learning, including class discussions, group projects, and hands-on activities. Real-world connections: IB is a program that emphasizes the importance of real-world connections and global perspectives. I strive to help students connect the concepts they are learning to real-world situations, and to encourage them to think critically about global issues and their role in the world. High expectations: IB is a challenging program, and I have high expectations for my students. I work to create a supportive and encouraging learning environment that encourages students to push themselves and to achieve their full potential. Collaborative learning: Collaboration is a key component of the IB program, and I work to create a classroom culture that emphasizes collaboration and teamwork. I believe that students learn best when they are able to work with their peers and to share their ideas and perspectives. In terms of workload, I understand that IB can be demanding and that students may feel overwhelmed at times. I work to provide students with the support and guidance they need to manage their workload effectively and to achieve a healthy balance between their academic and personal lives. Overall, my approach to teaching IB is focused on helping students engage with and excel in the program, while also providing them with the support and guidance they need to manage the demands of the program. I am committed to helping students achieve their full potential and to preparing them for success in higher education and beyond.

Trusted teacher: I received a bachelor’s degree University College London, a master’s degree at the London School of Economics and a PhD in international relations at London Metropolitan University. I have taught at high school, undergraduate and post-graduate levels: in high schools and universities in the United States, as well as in universities in the United Kingdom and Hungary. I have guided many students through their GCSE, IB and Oxbridge exams. I have also helped prepare students taking standardized tests such as the ISEE, SHSAT, ACT, SAT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT. I have taught classes and tutored students in fields as diverse as history, political science, international relations, law, mathematics and English language. I enjoy teaching, and his students have consistently recorded great improvements in their test scores following classes with him. He has taught online as well as in-person, large classes as well as students one-on-one. My favorite curriculum to teach is the IB, precisely because it emphasizes the interdisciplinary academic approach that he has always followed. Among the IB subjects I teaches are Mathematics and Economics. I also teach Theory of Knowledge and guide students over the Extended Essay. My approach to education is as follows: “Education is a passion of mine. There is nothing more satisfying than the experience of imparting knowledge, wisdom or even a learning technique to another person. It is particularly pleasing when this transmission leads to an enormous improvement in the life of another. That a student has succeeded in passing a test and, as a result, has been admitted to a school or university or even business school or law school that he or she had only vaguely dreamed of is immensely gratifying. “I enjoy inspiring students to learn more, to want to know more, to strive for more. Because my concern is exclusively an improvement in their lives, my students have always responded well to me. As a consequence, from the moment they begin studying with me their results and test scores start to improve dramatically. My teaching is always focused on the student's individual needs and his particular aptitudes. I devise my curriculum and teaching program around those, always keeping in mind that each student is different and what works with one student will not work with another.”
