My name is Matteo Schifanoia, I am a songwriter, pop and jazz singer, and vocal coach with 20 years of experience in music. I offer singing lessons for all levels. My lessons focus on developing body, muscle, and vocal awareness, which helps us perceive and consider our bodies as musical instruments. My teaching method is the result of the synthesis of my experience as a singer and the many and diverse study paths followed. The lesson is structured in two parts: the first half devoted to vocal technique, the second half to the musical repertoire and learning the musical language (jazz or pop or other genre). The vocal technique that I propose is a basic technique for all types of modern singing: from postural education to the care of breathing, from the use of abdominal muscles, to the emission of air to the resonance cavities. We will work on the sound, on the extension of the voice, on the high and low notes, on the passage of register, on the control, on the power and agility. From a repertoire perspective, the lessons will be tailored to the student's needs and interests, with an emphasis on proper stage presence and posture. I can prepare students for conservatory entrance exams and all types of auditions. If the student wishes, I can also provide instruction in harmony and music reading.

Trusted teacher: Hi there! My name is Norica. I am a pianist and a piano teacher from Tokyo. Just quickly to the point: My approach is holistic and systematic. It uses lots of fun exercises and nice educational materials from Japan in addition to the Internationally recognized standard books. (Don't worry, you don't have to understand Japanese!) You learn not only how to play piano but also how music works- music theory. I know what my students are good at and not so good at right off the bat. That's why I can tailor the lesson plans to their goals and needs. Also, if you like to take an ABRSM exam, the syllables will be tailored accordingly. So what will be tested on the day of the exam is integrated into the lessons and my class/lesson offers all-round preparation for the exam. I have helped my students pass G1, 3, 5 and 6 with a good score. Another important aspect of my lesson is to focus on improving cognitive skills - increasing memory, right-hand-left-hand-coordination, sustained attention, nonverbal communication, and a feeling of independence and freedom. I do so with unique materials from Japan and fun training. Currently students from 4 to 76 years old are taking my lessons. Not just a singing teacher, but by the way also the best vocal coach you can get hold of at this moment and in this area of the Netherlands (so take your chance...;-)). For about 3 years I had a serious problem with my vocal chords (incomplete closure) and a dislocated larynx. I started to be in contact with Stefano by chance asking him to show me some (singing) exercises additionally to my treatment at the ENT-department of Martini Ziekenhuis Groningen as well as an ongoing therapy at a professional trained speech therapist. To cut a long story short: Within a couple of lessons and dedicated exercises he succeeded in re-positioning my larynx and got rid of my incomplete vocal cords closure, meanwhile the medical specialists had decided that the only cure could possibly be an operation... As a ‘side-effect’ I am now able to sing and control my voice like I have never been able before and could never have imagined that this was possible to achieve by just some simple but individually chosen exercises and practice. I can't reccommend Claude enough! I reached out to him about doing some French classes to prepare for an exam that I needed to sit in work. I wasn't sure what it would entail but gave him the vague information I had. He created bespoke classes for me which covered a vast amount in a short amount of time. He managed to blend seamlessly the different aspects of language learning (aural, oral and written) during our classes and explained very complicated grammar points in a clear, precise way. He has a wealth of knowledge which he shares so generously. If you are looking for engaging, interactive classes with a teacher who is passionate about the language and can adapt to any level, look no further!

Robin is an exceptional native speaker teacher, very profesional and dedicated. My daugthers and wife attend his online classes regularly. He is a very educated person who cares about the student's learning. He prepares his classes conscientiously and precisely, adapted to the needs of the students. They focus mainly in improving their conversation skills. Robin is also very flexible as he has frequently adapted his lessons to fit into our other family activites. We really appreciate. We are very happy and fully recommend Robin as English teacher!!
