Mathematics and Physics tutoring for secondary and primary education (also at home). Master Commercial Engineer KUL with a Science-Mathematics-8 and Civil Engineering background. ABOUT THIS LESSON: I offer tutoring in Python programming and mathematics for university and college students. I also support secondary school and primary school students in all scientific subjects. I start by (if available) using your old tests to determine together with you (and possibly your parents) what specific difficulties you have. In addition, we will have a short conversation in which you can explain to me which issues you have experienced as the most difficult and would like to focus more on. My focus is on ensuring that the student is able to find the solution independently, step by step, and I help where necessary by providing mini-tips to get to the next step together. This makes my method much more personalized than standard classroom teaching. When I notice that a student has difficulty independently coming up with the correct editing steps, I create a concise step-by-step plan tailored to that specific subject so that the student begins to see more structure in the learning material. At the same time, I ensure that the underlying theory is thoroughly understood by linking it to self-invented exercises and practical examples from the student's personal environment, which makes learning easier and more lasting. ABOUT NICK: I am a 22-year-old master's student in Commercial Engineering at KU Leuven. I started tutoring my sister, nephews, nieces and friends and I get a lot of satisfaction from improving and helping others when they come to me for help. Because I have been tutoring consistently for 4 years, I have the right resources to present learning material in an understandable way and to strengthen the motivation, concentration and independent study of my students. In addition, I have a lot of experience with children and didactic teaching techniques from my tennis initiator diploma. Ranging from first to sixth secondary school, from 2 hours to 6 hours of mathematics per week and everything in between, I have guided students of all directions and levels, with a successful outcome every time. I don't give up until I'm sure a student understands the material well enough and I see them making progress. By always appearing enthusiastic, I ensure that together we do not let the drudgery of difficult subjects get any further than the school desks. I am flexible in making appointments and am open to every student. This can be done at a fixed time every week or lesson by lesson. I provide tutoring at your home (I can travel by car), at my home (Kampenhout), in my student room (Leuven) or online. If you are interested, please do not hesitate to contact me so that we can discuss the practicalities in more depth. Together we can both make a schedule and work lesson by lesson to achieve your personal academic goals or those of your child.

Léa helped my daughter prepare for her high school math exam, and the difference she made was incredible. Léa is extremely well-prepared, explains things brilliantly, and really pays attention to pace - she adapts everything to the student's needs rather than following a rigid plan. After each lesson she sends practice exercises, then goes through and checks them with my daughter the next session, which really helped things stick. We were also lucky enough to have her come to our home for lessons, which made everything so much easier. Léa is remarkably focused, responsible, professional, and just a genuinely kind young tutor. Beyond math, she's also able to teach chemistry, physics, English, and I believe Spanish too - all to a very high standard, and always thoroughly prepared. We'll definitely be calling on her again. Couldn't recommend her more highly.

Mr. Jeffery was very patient, polite, and respectful. He was punctual. As per the feedback of my 20 yrs-old son, when teaching, Mr. Jeffery showed utmost consideration and understanding. As a father, I would highly recommend him.

We found Georgiana very professional and friendly. She is helping our 12 year old daughter with math and we appreciate her attitude and approach. We would definitely recommend her to other parents/students.
