We practice forming natural sentences, slowly and at each student’s own pace. 2) Homework and assessments: Without homework or tests, it is very difficult to make progress in a language. I assign homework tailored to each student’s level and pace, and give a small vocabulary quiz at the end of each chapter. (During very busy periods, the amount of homework is adjusted, so don’t worry!) 3) Culture: Language is closely connected to culture.
