Trusted teacher: Whether you want to learn, improve or deepen your knowledge of a language, you're in the right place! Holding two master's degrees in Romance and Germanic languages and literatures, I have over 18 years of experience in teaching languages at primary, secondary and university levels. Specializing in culturally diverse educational contexts, I have lived and taught in Latin America (Ecuador and Brazil), the United States, Spain, and Dutch-speaking Belgium. These experiences have allowed me to reach a near-native level in Portuguese, Spanish, English, and Dutch. My goal is first and foremost to develop your understanding of the language, so that oral expression can develop gradually and with confidence. How ? Through dynamic and contextualized teaching methods: concrete activities, role-playing and interactive exercises. I combine a strong linguistic knowledge with modern and innovative teaching methods, based on immersion, contextual learning, and everyday life situations. I place particular importance on the active participation of learners, both orally and in writing. I primarily use the immersion method: lessons are conducted in the target language, allowing for natural and effective progress. Of course, you can use your native language to ask questions if needed. These scientifically recognized approaches promote both rapid and lasting learning. My courses are structured, interactive, and fully tailored to the specific needs of each learner, guaranteeing concrete results. Each course is custom-designed to meet your specific needs and goals. My sessions are dynamic, structured, and engaging, guaranteeing rapid and significant progress. With a great capacity for adaptation, I establish a relationship of trust with my learners. My patience, empathy, and professionalism will encourage you to surpass yourself

Serdane - Brussels69€
Trusted teacher: My name is Serdane and I offer Dutch lessons to secondary school students and adults who find it difficult to develop a way of working that suits them. Extroverted and bubbly...and above all, a lot of humor! Everyone learns in their own way. Some people learn languages intuitively by engaging in conversations. Others need rigorous exposure to grammatical concepts before launching into practice...in short, there are as many ways to learn as there are students! This is why I do not adopt a rigid method, but rather I adapt to the specificities of each student. I assess their level, their strengths, their possible weaknesses or delays, and I adjust my course accordingly. My priority is to give confidence to the student: Dutch is accessible to everyone when it is taught well! I believe in the effectiveness of active teaching methods: I encourage student participation as much as possible, guiding them to discover what works best for them. This ultimately allows him to continue his learning independently. My areas of expertise: - Enhancement - catching up - Grammar reviews - Conversation course - Work method (organization, schedule of revisions, etc.) - Support for beginners My price includes complete academic support (private lessons, possibility of asking questions outside of class hours, assistance with writing and correcting questions, etc.). If necessary, I provide specific help for the preparation of questions or exams in more complex subjects. I produce all of my course materials for each student. So there is no need for you to buy a learning book. However, if you are already working from a book, it is entirely possible for me to adapt to it.

I was looking for a teacher to help me improve my conversational abilities in Dutch and Astrid turned out to be the best choice for me. I really enjoyed the lessons with her. She is very pleasant, an engaging and patient teacher who encourages you every step of the way. She helped me immensely in building my confidence about speaking the language. Thank you Astrid!

Serdane is a wonderful teacher. Although my daughter learnt French at school she was very unconfident. Serdane was very sympathetic and gave her interesting material to read, discuss and to learn in class. She also went back to the basics which my daughter had missed out on at school and eventually my daughter graduated with 8.8 in French at the European BAC!

Marcel is a patient and calm teacher who is enjoyable to work with. I signed up for 10 lessons over the summer while recovering from surgery and I learned more Dutch than I thought I would. I am no longer intimated by the language! While I cannot continue at the same pace now that I am back at work, I owe a debt of thanks to Marcel for starting the journey.
