I have studied at the Conservatory of Ljubljana and I am currently studying jazz at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have knowledge of various music styles (jazz, rock, pop, hip hop, reggae, funk, improvised music, metal). I offer online or lessons in person in the centre of Amsterdam. We can also have lessons at your location.

Hello, I am Francesca and I have been playing the drums for some years now. I have a bachelor and a master's in science but I chose to make a turning point in my life and study music. I was admitted in the conservatory of Groningen in 2021, in the jazz departement but after successfully completing 2 years, I chose to leave the academic institution. I would like to share the artistry and joy of drumming but also the knowledge I have gained so far, with students of all ages and especially beginners. In my lessons, I focus on practical skills like rhythm, coordination, and technique. We work through exercises and songs together, tailored to each student's goals and abilities. My approach is hands-on and encouraging. I know that learning drums can be challenging, so I create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable making mistakes and pushing their limits. My name is Ben (26), and I'm a certified drum teacher with about 15 years of experience behind the kit. Previously I have studied jazz drums at Kunstuniversitat of Graz. Currently I'm teaching at multiple institutions in Amsterdam such as: Lucky Beat Music Club, United Pop, British School of Amsterdam. My classes take place on my boathouse at Weesperzijde, however if you wish I can also come to your place. I can guarantee you that after your first lesson you already will be able to play a simple rock beat! It is aimed at everyone, children and adults, complete beginners and more experienced musicians looking for advice, a method to keep developing I've been approaching and searching. Autonomy, creativity, curiosity and listening are the main 4 words for me! I can teach you drums in many styles (rock, funk, jazz, shuffle, pop, linear, world music, songs on demand) and in its many forms AND of course music theory, which can be integrated into the course if necessary, but also be the subject of a private lesson for students who wish support for their courses in an academy or at the Conservatory.
