I hope to share the joy of playing the double bass and the piano through teaching. It is so pleasant to make music and I wish to let more people know about it. The classes are very flexible. You can expect leisure music playing but also intensive trainings. Lessons will be designed according to students’ intentions. I am able to teach in Cantonese, Mandarin and English. Feel free to reach out :) I have been playing the double bass for more than 10 years and have recently obtained my master degree in double bass from Royal Conservatory of The Hague. I started playing the piano when I was 10. On top of classical, I also play a lot of Christian and pop music on the piano, which I am also happy to teach.

I am from Cuba and I am graduated from the Royal Conservatory of the Hague with a Master degree in Classical Double bass.I am currently doing the Academy of NederlandPhilharmonic and Kamerorkest I have been in the world of Classical music since 15 years ago having a complete education in Piano, Theory music double bass and Music History. My name is Andrea , I am a professional double bass player who obtained the Master Degree in classical Double Bass at the Royal Conservatory of The Hague. During a trial lesson we look at what you can already do and what you would like to learn, what your inspirations are and who your idols are. Hello! My name is Bjørk and I’m a professional double bass player living and teaching here in Amsterdam. I have 2 diplomas in Jazz Bass from Sweden and a degree in Jazz Bass Performance from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I love teaching and I have taught since 2016. And I love the bass! I teach double bass, electric bass, composition, improvisation, band coaching/ensemble lessons and music theory. I have experience teaching complete beginners with zero prior musical knowledge to more advanced players, and in all age ranges: from 5 year olds to 74 year olds. Every student is different and I always customize and adapt my lessons to your needs and your goals. And don’t worry if you’re not sure what those are yet, we can figure it out together! As I see it, music and learning should be most of all: fun! Of course it’s at times challenging, but we will focus on what you feel passionate about and see what works best for you.
