School English classes are often very theoretical and not very interactive. This is why I offer a method ranging from basic practice to complete immersion, depending on your level and / or your development.

I took English immersion courses for 4 years, in secondary school, and I found the technique motivating and very effective. I was able to carry on a daily conversation after only 4 months of learning!

I also offer courses in the form of activities for the youngest, if they wish.
Extra information
It is always preferable that you bring your course, to have theoretical support

About Me
ENGLISH:

After 3 years of studying psychology, not finding what I was happy with, I decided to reorient myself towards translation & interpretation.

Dynamic and creative, I like my classes to be interactive and varied. I organize my lessons around different themes according to the student's choices and/or needs, and alternate theoretical notions with various exercises. I also like to provide details and nuances presented by different Englishes, mainly British and American... I am concerned about the comfort and desires of the student, while still maintaining a minimum of directness.

I always adapt my lessons according to the level and development of the student; the language will therefore more or less dominate the course depending on this. My goal is to create a trusting, encouraging and fulfilling atmosphere for students so that they can learn quickly and effectively.

I make sure the student's comfort and likes, although I keep a minimum of directiveness.

I always adapt the lessons to the student's level and evolution, so English will be more or less spoken according to those. My aim is to create a sphere of trust, that's encouraging and enriching for the student, in order for them to learn English quickly and effectively.
Education
ENGLISH:

I am a first year translation & interpreting student in Brussels, specializing in English & Spanish.

In addition to my secondary school option, I took English immersion courses from my 3rd to my 6th year. This allowed me to speak the language very quickly and easily: I was able to hold a conversation after 4 months of learning! I also spent two stays in England with a host family, which boosted my learning and allowed me to become familiar with some local accents.

I am a teacher and tutor of Italian Language for Foreigners with a Master's degree in teaching Italian as a language for foreigners from the Ca' Foscari University of Venezia and the DITALS certification (Certificate of aptitude in didactics of Italian to foreigners) of the University for Foreigners of Siena (Italy).
The course and my method of teaching the language are based on a communicative approach: the student will learn the language gradually by using it and communicating in a real language and not abstract. To achieve this goal, many activities will be offered using authentic teaching materials such as newspaper articles, pages from novels, movie scenes, song lyrics and many more.

Hi, I’m Maram! I teach Arabic to students of all ages and levels in Brussels. With 9 years of experience, I’ve worked with children, adults, and university students from diverse backgrounds.

I specialize in both Classic Arabic and Levantine Arabic. Whether you already speak Classic Arabic or don’t speak Arabic at all, you can start learning Levantine Arabic with me! I’ve learned tricks that help you learn faster, and I love sharing them with my students. I speak more than five languages, so I know what it takes to master a new one!

My approach is very interactive and based on what works best for you. I use games, songs, and discussions to make learning feel natural, and I’ll always focus on your personal goals—whether it’s speaking fluently, passing an exam, or mastering the language for a special job.

So, if you’re ready to start, we’ll talk about how you learn best, and we’ll create a plan together that works for you.
And remember, learning Arabic isn’t just about words—it’s about culture, history, and politics. With me, you’ll get the full package!

I like to use different methods to teach French to students. It can be through songs, drama, role play or videos. I also very often use situations close to the student's experience, such as describing places they have been or talking about what they have experienced. At the same time, I teach the grammar rules to the student. I now live in regions where French has been spoken for over 30 years. Because I have learned French myself (and I am still learning other languages), I can easily put myself in a student's shoes. I can teach in French, Dutch, English, German and Russian.

I trained as a translator and interpreter at the Mons School of International Interpreters. This training is based on learning spoken language first... no unnecessary and tedious grammar... but phonetics, the MUSIC of language... the essential tool! People call me a magician...
Speaking a language is like singing to music, with its own unique phonetics! English is a prime example...
Learning while having fun with an effective teacher who puts you at ease. Perform, progress, quickly and well without any "pain," and gain confidence. I've helped "save" some hopeless cases... for me, it's a challenge I take on with enthusiasm every time!
