I teach the harp for multiple levels and all ages! I teach lever, folk and pedal harp and cover a variety of genres (children’s music, Irish harp, film music and classical harp). I offer 30, 45 and 60 minute lessons. I also offer preparation for concerts, competitions, auditions and exams for children!

Mein Name ist Ersilia, ich bin eine 24-jährige Harfenistin, ursprünglich aus Griechenland und jetzt wohne ich in Berlin, Deutschland. Ich habe meinen Bachelor-Abschluss an der Royal Academy of Music in London abgeschlossen und studiere derzeit im Masterstudiengang an der UdK in Berlin. Ich habe zahlreiche Wettbewerbe in Europa gewonnen und gebe regelmäßig Konzerte sowohl als Solistin als auch im Orchester. Meine Klasse besteht aus über 20 Schülern im Alter von 5 bis 72 Jahren, und ich unterrichte sowohl Hakenharfe als auch Pedalharfe in den Genres Klassik, Jazz und sogar Popmusik. Beim Unterrichten liegt mir besonders am Herzen, die Fähigkeiten, die ich in den letzten 15 Jahren des Harfenspiels erworben habe, weiterzugeben und die Freude an der Musik an die jüngere Generation zu vermitteln!

Hi!

My name is Diego, I am a guitarist and composer currently living in Berlin. I am offering guitar and music lessons to everyone interested in learning music, from beginners to advanced players who want to improve their skills. I find teaching very inspiring and challenging. My goal is to help you find your way in music so that you can improve and enjoy the process.
I have been a teacher in different schools and privately in the last years in Spain and Berlin. I have a Bachelor's degree in Jazz Studies from the University of the Basque Country, Musikene (Spain).

Each person is different, so I adapt to the needs and interests of each one. We always work on things that are important to you. Along with this, there are certain topics that I consider necessary for further development:
guitar technique, rhythm, harmony, ear training, improvisation, composition, different languages (jazz, blues, rock, folk), and a repertoire suitable for the student.

I can give extra material to the students with videos or Pdf to work at home.

There's also the option of doing the lessons in Baumschulenstr (Treptow).
I can go to your location for an extra fee.

Dear music lover,

As an experienced and certified cellist / orchestra musician from Lisboa, Portugal, with several years of teaching, I accompany children, beginners, adults and advanced students into their musical dream and future.

I adapt myself individually to the wishes and needs of my students.
My focus is not only the technichs and motor skills of the instrumental playing, but always trying to convey musical relationships.

The motivation and enthusiasm of my students always come on the first plan.

Like with languages, intuition plays a huge part in learning an instrument. Most often in music, the correct choice will the the one that ~feels~ the most natural. This is what my teachers, from when I was a kid, all the way to the end of my studies at the conservatory, have prioritized in lessons; Working less hard to sound better.

I’m here to help you in the same way, to decipher with you certain sounds, certain gestures in recorder playing, so that we can map out together your skill set, and eventually find your own style of play.

When it comes to the grammar part of music, I’m ready to teach you everything about reading notes, intervals, chords, and all the principles of music theory, with examples and fun exercises.

I am a very patient person, and have experience with beginners as well as “matured” amateurs :)

I hold a masters in early music, along with a bachelors in classical composition.

My dream is to live from composition mainly, writing music for concerts, film and ballet. Currently I’m working on a ballet commission from the Schauspielhaus in Zurich, and more original music for a series of concerts next summer in France.

My favorite composers are Bartok... and a bunch of anonymous medieval ones.
