I have taught music in Dubai and worked as a visiting lecturer at the university of the visual and performing arts in Sri Lanka. There is a Chinese proverb that says, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach a man to fish and you feed him for a lifetime.” In my classes, I try to get my students to think so that in the future they will not have to rely on others to make their own choices when playing a piece.

- HEALTHY HABITS
Musicians can get hurt if they are not careful, so it is important to have good posture, efficient technique and study method.

- ENJOY
Music should be all about enjoyment. And in lessons too! I like to think I have a good sense of humor, so laughter is guaranteed during lessons too.

- PERSONALIZATION
Teaching is not “one size fits all”. That is why I adapt my lessons for each type of student. Duration, methodology, price and planning are determined based on the student’s needs.

Guitar lessons are for all levels, very beginners until Advanced players who want to improve their stage presence and interpretation skills. I also prepare students towards the entrance exams for conservatoriums. My guitar lessons include basic music theory + score reading and solfege.

I graduated as a Music Teacher and have been teaching piano for about 4 years. I also work at schools where I teach music. I work entirely on commission. Whether you need a piano teacher or a music theory teacher, I am happy to do it all.

ABOUT ME:
My name is Ana and I am a 25-year-old pianist, graduated from her master's degree in ArtEZ University of the Arts in Zwolle. I come from Spain, but I live and work in The Netherlands. I studied for my piano bachelor's in Spain and finish with the highest marks. Also, I have experience as a performer and I have won some prizes in national and international competitions.
Apart from my piano career, I also have a lot of pedagogical training and experience teaching, both individual and group lessons. I can teach people of all ages and all levels.

I give private lessons in Zwolle to students of all levels. Mainly piano lessons, but also chamber music and music theory.
Students of all levels are welcome.
The classes can be in English, Spanish or Dutch.
The duration and frequency of lessons is flexible, depending on the age and preferences of the student. Normally for adults or teenagers the lessons are one hour long and for younger children a bit shorter, but it depends on the individual.

The choir group will learn songs in parts ( Soprano, Alto, Tenor, and bass). Both contemporary and classical songs. There will be some voice training alongside the rehearsal time. The aim is to prepare choirs for their Sunday service ministeration. It will be an interesting but intense time of putting together choristers who are willing to improve their level of song ministration.

I've been teaching piano in Hong Kong for a year and have over 20 years of playing experience. I offer lessons for all levels—from absolute beginners to advanced. You can choose a relaxed approach, learning your favorite songs just for fun, or follow a structured path toward professional goals.

Lessons available in English/Chinese/Cantonese and I am happy to incorporate Dutch exercises while learning the language.
