Trusted teacher: I am a native teacher from Barcelona, with a degree in History and as a Spanish teacher for foreigners. I also have a masters degree in teaching. I have been teaching Spanish and Catalan private lessons for over 15 years, but I’ve also taught in the context of cultural associations and the French and Catalan national education. I am always happy to be part of my students’ learning journey; no matter what level you have, we will learn plenty of things together! :) I offer dynamic Catalan online classes adapted to each person and their needs. My lessons are oriented to all levels, using the language in real and pedagogic contexts. As a teacher, I am very interested in letting my students learn not only the language but also the Catalan culture, as it is a fundamental aspect to really be able to succeed in the learning process. In order to do so, we will work on all the different competences (oral and writing skills), grammar and vocabulary, of course, but also I like to use some real texts, videos, songs, etc., so we can get the chance to learn from real instructional materials and discuss the news and culture. The most important thing is to try to communicate in Catalan so you will become more and more fluent. We will get there step by step! I’ve helped a lot of students pass their exams, prepare their interviews and resumes, or just be comfortable in their oral practise. I am used to teach a language from scratch, I have long experience teaching high levels as well. Please, contact me for further information and let me know how I can help you.

Irene - Barcelona46€
Trusted teacher: Already done some Spanish but want to improve? Got some grammar issues? Want to work on your communication? Preparing for an exam? You always wanted to learn Spanish and have decided that the time might be just now? I can help you! My name is Irene. I come from Guadalajara, a town close to Madrid, but live in beautiful Barcelona. I understood very early that I like not only learning but also teaching languages and studied my Masters of Linguistics Applied to Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language. I have lived in France, India, Germany and Russia teaching Spanish. During these 15 years of teaching, I learnt a lot about different methods, people and logics. I use a variety of resources (textbooks, articles, small videos, audios...) providing examples, exercises and homework so that what is to be learnt is doable and designed for your learning preferences. I adapt my classes to what students want and need so they make the most of their time and money. I think it is very important for students to feel comfortable and safe. It is also essential that what we do and talk about in class makes sense and is relevant for you. It is your goal and personal style of learning what will define our classes. I also speak English, French, German and Russian. I can explain in the student′ s mother tongue if necessary although my goal will be to speak Spanish from the very beginning with affordable exercises adapted to your level. I love teaching and learning new languages because they bring us closer.

Trusted teacher: My name is Gabriel, I am 18 years old and I have been studying piano since I was 4 years old in recognized institutions such as Casa Sors (academy) and Tremolo (pseudo-conservatory) here in Barcelona. I have always played the piano for recreational purposes, but that has not prevented me from reaching a good level. In addition, I have perfected my skills under the guidance of excellent private teachers. My vocation for teaching is purely for fun, I like to teach how to play the instrument that makes me so happy. In any language you want! Availability to teach in different languages: Catalan (native), Spanish (native), English (C2) and French (B2 and Bachibac). Information about classes • I am addressing students with a beginner level or who want to resume the study of this instrument • My approach is very practical and direct, ideal for those seeking effective results as well as useful and enriching learning. • I offer the possibility of giving classes at my home in Barcelona or travelling to any home in Barcelona and surrounding areas (Sabadell, Terrassa, Sant Cugat, Hospitalet de Llobregat, Esplugues, Cornellà, among others). Experience and skills • I have experience teaching piano to family and friends. • In addition, I am a basketball coach for learning categories, which has allowed me to develop skills to work well with boys and girls of young ages as well as adolescents. • I have also given several concerts in residences and I am also good at working with older people. Don't miss this opportunity to learn to play the piano in a fun and effective way! Contact me for more information and to schedule your lessons.

Trusted teacher: A young clarinetist and teacher, he graduated in Higher Education with a specialization in clarinet performance from the Conservatori Superior del Liceu, with Isaac Rodríguez as his teacher, and completed the first year of the Bachelor's Degree in Primary Education. He has also attended regular classes with Miguel Espejo and master classes with Giovanni Punzi, Nicolas Baldeyrou, Phillip Berrod, Hedwig Swimberghe, Josep Fuster, Luís Gomes, and José Luis Estellés. He has been part of the Ataúlfo Argenta Youth Symphony Orchestra for 7 years, as well as participating in concerts in some of the great theaters on the national scene, such as the Gran Teatre del Liceu, L'Auditori de Barcelona or the Euskalduna Palace, alongside artists of renowned prestige, such as Pacho Flores, Joyce DiDonato or Jordi Savall, and performed symphonic works under the baton of Hugo Carrio, Borja Quintas, Manel Valdivieso, Jhoanna Sierralta, José R. Pascual-Vilaplana or Lara Diloy. Additionally, currently (2025), he is working as the sole author on the composition of the soundtrack for a feature film, as well as creating music through more personal projects. In the pedagogical field, I have been teaching clarinet and musical language classes for 8 years. My specialty is the clarinet, but I offer lessons in harmony, composition, musical analysis, musical language (solfeggio), piano and guitar. In these years I have learned with students of all ages, from the youngest years to older adults, both in private classes and in music schools, and the result for everyone (including me) has been enjoyment and learning. The most important thing, I think, to be able to learn without dying in the attempt, is that there is a great understanding, and that is why I love that they ask me questions and everything is always clear, since music is not an easy discipline, but it deserves the grief. And it is especially worth it when you understand what is happening to you while you learn and fall and learn again (both in music and in your emotions when practicing an artistic discipline live).

Ona has been a much better teacher than I could've hoped for. First and foremost, she has the ability to be very adaptable with respect to the way that she instructs you. Whether it be observing and understanding how the student learns most effectively or more explicitly, you can tell what you want to learn and how you'd like to do so. Many teachers, I have found, have a method and stick with it, without consideration of how a student may learn best. That ability on its own distinguishes between what is a good/average teacher and a GREAT teacher or coach. She is also extremely kind and patient (something very important for me, as I tend to struggle!), which makes learning something difficult and a bit exhausting at times, much more enjoyable than it would be otherwise. S-Tier Instructor!

I had my first Spanish lesson with Irene and it exceeded expectations. She uses a structured mix of activities and drills that keep the session focused and engaging. Despite being a complete beginner, I was speaking simple conversations by the end of the hour. She has a clear, effective teaching style and knows how to build confidence quickly without overwhelming you. I learned a great deal in a short time and genuinely enjoyed the process. Irene is an excellent teacher.
