About Me

I am a 23 year old Hungarian musician , living in Rotterdam because of study reasons.My main profile is being a session musician in live concerts, and in the studio ,as well. I've played in many music groups, in a lot of genres from pop through funk to jazz. Right now I also have my solo project, as a fusion guitarist.
I've been teaching for about 5 years, and had students from age 7 to 40+. I'd like to give my students perspective of the possibilities they can encounter through music, and playing the guitar in particular.

After starting off as a self-taught guitar player, I have studied at "Kőbányai Zenei Stúdió" between 2018 and 2022.
At the moment I am a student at Codarts, Jazz Guitar Department.

I have earned my "Musical Entertainer Certificate" in Hungary, at "Kőbányai Zenei Stúdió".
I have performed with numerous music groups, worked as a cruiseship musician, played on many records, and also written and arranged music for myself and other artists.

Every person has their own musicality—we just need to let it come out.

My goal as a teacher is to help you discover how much fun, joy, and passion music can bring. Whether you are a complete beginner or an experienced player, I will guide you in developing both your technical skills and your personal voice on the saxophone.

I began my musical journey in Verona, Italy, where I graduated in Classical Saxophone in 2017. Soon after, I started teaching saxophone at the Lizard Music Academy in Garda and introducing music to children in primary and middle schools. Later, my passion for improvisation and creativity led me to continue my studies at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam, where I specialize in Jazz and Latin music.

I believe music has no age: you are never too young or too old to express yourself through an instrument. If you feel drawn to the warm, expressive sound of the saxophone, let’s begin this musical journey together.

SAXOPHONE LESSONS:
To truly express your musical ideas on the saxophone, you need a strong connection between body, mind, and instrument. That’s why every lesson begins with a focus on sound and technique—developing your tone, breath control, and body awareness.

You will learn how to shape your own saxophone sound and how to “sing” through the instrument. For beginners, this process may take a few weeks, but it quickly shows how musical practice can positively influence not only your playing but also your body, emotions, and creativity.

To make your learning experience enjoyable and personal, my lessons are always adapted to your goals and musical interests—whether that’s reading music, improvisation, or other areas you want to explore.

Together, we will also build your own personal repertoire of songs that reflect who you are. The second part of each lesson will be dedicated to working on these pieces, so that you develop not only technique but also musical expression.

HOW MY LESSONS WORK
In my lessons, the main focus is sound. A beautiful saxophone sound has the power to captivate an audience with just a single note. That’s why we always start by working on long tones across the full register of the instrument. The more natural and relaxed your embouchure and body are, the more easily the reed will vibrate—resulting in a warmer, personal sound.

We will then explore saxophone technique, including scales, arpeggios, vibrato, tonguing, dynamics, overtones, and playing in both the low and high registers. These exercises will give you the technical foundation to express yourself freely.

From there, we’ll connect technique with music:
1. Harmony & Improvisation – We’ll work directly on the songs you love. By transcribing, analyzing, and exploring harmony, you’ll learn how to improvise over chord progressions and develop your own repertoire.
2. Reading Music – An essential skill if you want to play in bands, ensembles, or orchestras. We’ll practice sight-reading and written repertoire to strengthen this ability.
3. Audition Preparation – If your goal is to enter a conservatory (classical or jazz), I have experience guiding students through auditions. We can focus on etudes, required repertoire, and exam preparation.

Above all, my approach is personalized to your goals and interests. Whether you want to play your favorite songs, learn to improvise, or prepare for advanced studies, I’ll guide you step by step.

I believe that music makes the mind free, and that everybody can play—it’s just a matter of practicing and listening in the right way.

We’ll explore the saxophone in classical repertoire (Gershwin, Bizet, Milhaud, Rota, Bernstein, Steve Reich, Michael Nyman...), and then follow its journey through popular music: Blues, Jazz (Stan Getz, Charlie Parker, John Coltrane, Cannonball Adderley, Sonny Rollins...), Latin, Rock & Roll, Pop, and beyond—right up to today’s music.

Together, we will listen to the milestones of great composers and performers who shaped the history of this fantastic instrument.

It’s a journey of discovery into the beauty of music through the saxophone—one that will inspire you, expand your listening, and deepen your passion for this amazing art form.

Let me express my passion for teaching my instrument and emphasize the utmost importance of developing a deep understanding of sound and rhythm. We will embark on an extensive journey that includes ear training through singing melodies, exploring scales, diving into harmony using the piano, and even a little music theory if you are interested.

Our focus will be primarily on honing our listening skills, as that is the key element. Note that our approach to learning is not to read music notation or rely on written material. Hello everyone! This is Eren. I am 25 years old. I am a Turkish drummer/producer, graduated from the Utrecht Conservatorium Jazz&Pop Drums department. I am actively playing in 3 bands, and have good experience for my age. I really would like to share my knowledge and experience with you! I will use the stuff that my teachers gave me in the conservatory, and my own techniques in the lessons. Any level is welcome! I can also help with music theory, ear training, solfege and music production in Ableton(basics of ableton, MIDI, audio recordings, mixing&mastering). My name is Davide and my music experience started when I was 10 years old during my middle school in Italy.
I started playing cello and I kept on studying classical music for 8 years, performing as a soloist and in many orchestras and ensembles.
In the meanwhile, I started being interested in electronic music and composition for soundtracks.

When I turned 17 I realized that music would have been my passion and my job. I graduated in “Contemporary Writing and Production” at Pescara Conservatory in Italy. During these studies, I dove deeper into Pop and Experimental Electronic Music, orchestration, and orchestral composition. I also had the opportunity to play in different bands and discover different genres such as Post Rock, Progressive Metal, and Heavy Metal.
After my bachelor's degree, I finished my studies following a Master's program at Codarts (Rotterdam) in Creative Production. During those two years, I had the opportunity to collaborate with many people and explore different kinds of music (Turkish, Flamenco, Jazz, etc.). I wrote an Artistic Research about electronic unquantized music by analyzing the sound of producers such as Flume, Burial, and Arca.

Now that my studies are finished I feel that I want to spread my knowledge and my passion to many people as possible.
My class subjects are:
- Music Production (from beginners to expert level, mainly Ableton Live and Pro Tools classes)
- Cello Lessons (from beginners to intermediate level)
- Music Theory (from beginners to expert level)
- Composition and Orchestration (explore the world and joy of composing for an orchestra and how to use your DAW as a real symphonic orchestra).

As a Producer, I want to let the student feel completely free to ask me whatever he/she wants. I have had many experiences as a producer and I know how to handle many different genres.
My first teaching experience was at 17 years old and from that moment on I did not change my teaching set-up.
I want the lesson to be an interactive moment in which the teacher and the student are sharing ideas and opinions.

Do you want to have fun learning how to play the most beautiful instrument in the world or improve your skills with it? I'd be delighted to do it with you! I'm a classical clarinetist, I have two masters (recently graduated at Codarts) and different experience in orchestra, chamber music and teaching! My goal as a teacher is to stimulate the student to study in order to be at the disposal of music and not a passive player as can happen many times when you undertake a new study. That is why I like to play with my students and organize little private concerts and try-out.
Concerning the music theory lessons, I am not going to bore you with long and incomprehensible explanations! We will study it in a fun and effective way! I've been studying music since I'm five years old and I started with the Kodaly method that made me approach music in a very natural way! I hope to see you soon!

Piano/Keyboard lessons for beginners focus on piano basics; learning to read notes, read rhythms, play scales, basic chords and other essentials to play. This is a great way to introduce any young child to the joy of playing. Basic music theory will also be taught. Students are able to choose part of their repertoire based on what they enjoy, making lessons exciting and motivating. However, there will be pieces that is essential and mandatory. Our intermediate lessons will progress students to the next level.

- In a very calm and friendly environment, the classes are organized and planned according to the students' goals/wishes. As someone who was classically trained from age 6 to 18, I believe this is very important for the students well being.

- If you want to improve your piano technique while also enjoying the lesson and having a sense of improvement every week, then these lessons are for you.

- My classes are for everyone that wants t play anything on the piano. Be it jazz, classical, pop, etc... Also, as a composer and pianist, I will give you a different point of view from other piano teachers.

It's also not important if you cannot read music, I can help you with that as well. If you are already a singer, we will work in order to refine your technique.

Although I have the most experience with classical, I am able and I am glad to teach other styles!

Voice, breathing, and posture are connected and fundamental for a healthy technique so we will also work on that while we focus on your voice.

Singing can be very personal and confronting but do not fear, we work in a safe environment.
