As a native Spanish, I offer lessons based on speaking -with the necessary amount of grammar, of course- adapting to all levels. For everyone who is willing to be able to understand and communicate themselves in the language, whatever the reason is. I do not offer preparation for official exams though, as I do not own the material right now. My mother tongues are Spanish and Catalan, and during the lesson we would use English as the side vechicle.

I have been helping students as a private tutor for around 6 years now, and would be very happy to help more people interested in learning! Do not hesitate to contact me.

I am a classical double bassist originally from Barcelona, where I studied until I obtained my bachelor's degree. I also learnt jazz and got to play with some ensembles in that genre, and I was also a member of a traditional music ensemble until I moved to the Netherlands. Thus, I welcome all kind of tastes and interests in my students, as long as there is motivation for the student to learn.

I often play in a professional orchestra in Austria, and have played with some others in Spain. I was also the double bass teacher in the Andorran national conservatoire, where I had students of all ages. I would be very pleased to meet you!

Academist in Mahler Chamber Orchestra (2022) and in a chamber music festival (Músics en Residència, 2023).

I offer double bass lessons for all levels and ages, to everyone interested in learning the basics or willing to refine their technique. I started playing when I was 8 years old, and I keep finding reasons for repeatedly falling in love with it, which is something I would love to share with everyone who would like to get closer to this wonderful instrument.

I obtained my bachelor's degree in classical performance in Barcelona, and I am currently pursuing my master's in Rotterdam. I have experience teaching in diverse institutions, from children to adults. As a performer, I often play in professional orchestras.

Hola amigos! My name is Kevin and I am a Business Administration professional with first-hand experience in tutoring foreign students from different nationalities. My linguistic spectrum consists of English, French and Spanish, which I master both orally and written. As a native Spanish speaker, I possess significant experience in the construction of argumentative texts and academic essays in Spanish.

On the personal side, one of my greatest passions are philosophy and literature. As such, I am constantly reading and translating texts in order to increase and develop my language skills. Consequently, my work methodology is mostly focused on motivating the student to speak freely and to learn by acknowledging his/her mistakes. From the beginning, I will try to address the lessons 100% in Spanish, with the aim of familiarizing the ear to the pronunciation. In terms of written exercises, it is important to know what are the student’s learning priorities. When starting with the written part, it is important to know the student is dedicated to practicing and that he will also benefit from this in his future experiences. This is why the exercises will address current social problems that allow him to be fluent when he meets other Spanish speakers.

In order for the student to learn as easily and efficiently as possible, homework exercises will be given after each lesson, drafted according to the parts that the students wishes to master best (speaking, reading, listening, writing). This way, the student will benefit from a fluid learning process and, with dedication, will be able to excel in Spanish in a short period of time.

I am Laura , a Spanish woman living in The Hague. I have been teaching and helping high school students with their homework and study methods since 2014 as a private tutor. I have experience as a language teacher in different schools in Madrid (extracurricular activities) for children between 3 and 10 years old. I work as a Spanish teacher since 2019 in various countries, helping numerous students to improve their speaking, listening and writing skills.

I studied Nutrition and Dietetics (4 years bachelor) at Complutense University of Madrid. Later and determined by my love for languages, I completed the BA in Linguistics in Leiden University, following the Brain and Cognition specialization, which focuses in how language and second languages learning works in a neural level.

Depending on the goal, the learning or lesson method is different. Normally, the first day I meet the student and we talk about what he or she expects and the topics we need to pay more attention. Most people need to revise the basics of language over and over again in order to master it, and having a good knowledge of how the language works at its core, i.e. its grammar, will help improve one's language skills drastically.
I think the best way of learning a language is by familiarizing yourself with it. I therefore like to conduct my lessons mainly in the target language. Moreover, I will tailor my lesson to the students' needs, a language has 4 core parts (Listening, Reading, Writing, and Speaking), and each of us has different strong points and weaknesses when it comes to expressing ourselves in a second language.
