As a rare combination of both Drummer and Lyricist (they don't usually trust the drummer to do the fancy stuff!) I have been working on both crafts for nearly 20 years. At 24 years old, it's safe to say I have spent my life working on songwriting and performing.
I would love to be able to help others, who like myself, have gone through writer's block and 'blips' in songwriting where you just can't find a motive. I am also looking to help aspiring drummer's get to grips with the basic techniques and hone in your unique style to get started behind the kit!

You'll need a pair of drumsticks to play along with what I am teaching/demonstrating to work on hand-eye coordination and rhythm. A note-pad and paper to work on lyrical patterns. An open mind to try new ideas.

I have worked as a professional musician and toured the UK extensively for over 7 years now. Working as a session drummer and in several bands. I have worked with solo artists and collaborated with singer-songwriters, contributing both drum tracks and lyrical pieces.
I spent 3 years at Leeds Beckett University where I graduated with an Honours degree in Human Geography.
I spent several summers working with international students at a language school in Leeds where the students came to learn English and experience the British culture. This experience is what inspired me to teach in this capacity and share my skillset.
