Murat is an English linguist who has been certified by TESOL. He has extensive experience teaching EFL/ESL to speakers of varying proficiency levels, ranging from young learners to university students. He has taught English internationally in London, Dubai, and Istanbul.

I am a native-speaking qualified teacher of English. I hold Master's degrees in English and Philosophy from San Francisco State University and currently teach online at Laney College in Oakland, California while living in Istanbul. I am able to help English speakers of any level, but specialize in taking you from advanced levels to fluency, especially in regards to speaking and writing. I have been a tutor at various companies in USA since 2013 and a college instructor since 2017, and have tutored subjects as varied as psychology to essay writing to modern philosophy.
