Welcome! My name is Caleb and I look forward to working together in lessons online or at your home around The Hague! My teaching is customized to support each student's musical goals. Prior to moving to The Hague, I spent five years teaching group and private lessons for a variety of arts education organizations in Philadelphia (USA). In each space, I create safe and fun learning environments for students by maintaining a consistently supportive demeanor and by using positive reinforcement to encourage student behavior and growth. I’m patient, empathetic, and maintain a firm belief in all students’ capacity for improvement and success. In the lessons, we will focus on creating a beautiful, efficient, and flexible sound through various exercises and musical pieces. I will facilitate exploration that leads students to learn about effective learning habits and to be able to self-identify what they can do to improve. This helps students become their own teachers – an essential skill for improving in music, and also relevant in many other areas in life. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out. Caleb –––––––– A bit about me: Originally from Indiana (USA), I have performed professionally with the International Chamber Orchestra of Puerto Rico, with organist Clara Gerdes at the Piccolo Spoleto Festival, and with members of the American Brass Quintet at the Aspen Music Festival. As a baroque trumpeter, I have performed with The Sebastians, the Philadelphia Bach Collegium, with members of the Orchestra of the Eighteenth Century, and with the Jeune Orchestre de l’Abbaye and Philippe Herreweghe at the Festival de Saintes. While attending Curtis Institute of Music, my colleagues and I won first prize at the National Trumpet Competition (USA) in the trumpet ensemble division. As a passionate advocate for music education and arts access, I served as an ArtistYear fellow, teaching sixty-five recorder students at Powel Elementary School in Philadelphia during the 2016-17 school year. I have also served as a teaching artist for Jazz Aspen Snowmass and Philadelphia’s Play on Philly. As a founding member of The Brass Project from 2016-2018, I premiered over thirty new works written for the ensemble. During this time The Brass Project was featured by Santa Fe Pro Musica, at National Sawdust, and at Music from Angel Fire. Our debut album, “Cityscaping,” released in December 2018. I recently graduated with a master’s degree in baroque trumpet at the Royal Conservatoire in The Hague. I earned an Artist Diploma at the Curtis Institute of Music, and a bachelor’s degree at Indiana University’s Jacobs School of Music.

Spanish trumpet player, I have two master's studies (trumpet and music education) with experience working as a teacher in the conservatory with students from 6 years old to undergraduate studies. Also, I have experience with different orchestras in Spain and The Netherlands and with different jazz groups. I consider myself happy and dynamic, always looking for different techniques for the best result for the student.

The trombone, trumpet or piano seem hard instruments to learn, but with the right approach it's a fun and enjoyable process filled with small tasks that will make you improve and have fun at the same time. The same goes with music theory and composition; the classes are structured in a way that you wont feel overwhelmed with too much information because the goals and method will be set based on your level and needs. All offered classes are available for students of every age and level, the only thing you need is to make the first step by signing in and we will make a plan together after we have met.

I am a London based music educator, working for many Music Hubs and Institutions across the city. My teaching experience is broad and deep: brass instruments, theory, music production, arranging and more; from primary schools to university lecturing. I also offer private lessons in my studio in Camden or online.

The trumpet: its correct technical execution and the interpretation of popular and academic universal repertoires, is available to everyone regardless of their age. We will build a logical sequence of studies that will help develop the technical aspects. And we will address repertoires according to the age and taste of the student. we will draw a path with short, medium and long term goals. we will build a technical routine and healthy habits to progress correctly. In addition, we will select musical pieces by mutual agreement to mature the technical development hand in hand with musical growth. I am a professional trumpeter, I have participated in symphony orchestras, wind bands, big band, and small chamber and jazz ensembles. I have extensive experience teaching children, youth and adults. For me it is very important to make music from the first lesson, because there must be a balance between technical practice and its application in small melodies or musical pieces. No matter the musical genre, we will always find a repertoire according to the level and interest of each student. If you already know how to play and you need to perfect a piece or prepare a recital or audition, you can count on my experience and accompaniment as well.

Hello everyone! My name is Jorge and I am a professional trombonist with extensive experience in performance, chamber music, early music and orchestral music. I teach online classes for all levels and I speak Spanish, English and German. I'm here to offer my trombone classes! :) Higher Education in Music, specialty trombone, from the Murcia Higher Conservatory of Music with Professor Mario Calvo Ponce. I completed a Master in Musical Research at the University of Murcia, and a Master in Instrumental Trombone at the Hochschule für Musik Saar (Saarbrücken, Germany) with Professor Guilhem Kusnierek and assistant professors Mark Hampson, Simon Seidel and Michael Zühl. In the field of orchestral music, I have had the opportunity to work with orchestras such as: Orchester National de Metz (France), Saarländisches Staatsorchester (Germany) and Deutsche Radio Philharmonie Saarbrücken Kaiserslautern (Germany). In the field of teaching, I have been an interim professor at the Professional Conservatory of Music of Lorca (Spain). My teaching method is as follows without the instrument: Awareness of the breath, placement of the mask (lips, tongue, palate, throat), body position. With the instrument: The air column, the position of the mouthpiece, the work and the position of the tongue. How to be enduring on the trumpet and get tired as little as possible. For the advanced: work on the treble, the brass section, precision, Cat Anderson's whisper g, the choice of mouthpieces, the piccolo trumpet. HI! I am Lenart and I am currently a student at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. I have been playing the trumpet for more than 15 years and have experience in many different music genres like Jazz, Pop, Classical, Baroque. I graduated from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana. I used to do a lot of teaching (young to old) when I was still residing in Slovenia. My desired goal as a teacher is to show you an easy and fun way to master a new skill or some new aspects of it, but not to fill your head with unnecessary things that will make your progress hard and slow. I have studied with some of the biggest names of classical and jazz trumpet worldwide like: Omar Tomasoni, Miroslav Petkov, Reinhold Friedrich, Chris Colleti and many more.

My name is Lyle, and I teach Trumpet, Piano, and also more general composition and music production. I specialise in contemporary styles (anything from the last 100 years), and have found many of my students typically are: - Young children, who's parents are looking for a teacher who is more interested in flexibility and helping the child become inspired and self-motivated, rather than crushed by overly academic and strict teaching. - Adults who feel like their childhood instrumental learning has left them with large gaps in their knowledge and ability, particularly when it comes to improvisation and playing music without sheet music. - Learners who are interested in developing their musicianship, and curious about, but also a bit scared by JAZZ. - Learners who are interested in recording music, and want advice on both music and professional goals and the industry. I am happy to teach grades, but have a strong teaching philosophy that focuses around more specifically tailored learning paths that focus on giving the student the tools needed to become self-sufficient playing and creating music, whether it be to relax at home, play with others, or write songs. I also have my own band, LYLE!, in which I sing, play keyboards, play trumpet, and write and produce all of the music, as well as playing and performing with many different bands across the UK.

Unless you're better than me, of course. :) I studied jazz trumpet with Gary Barone in Freiburg at the International Music College (at that time it was still called jazz and rock school) (toured with Frank Zappa and played as a supporting act for Miles Davis) and have now been in Berlin as a freelance trumpeter and music producer for ten years / DJ active.
