Hello! My name is Irene, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in beautiful Copenhagen. I’m in my final year of Spanish Language and Literature studies, which gives me a solid foundation and deep understanding of the language that I love sharing with my students.

Hi! My name is Irene, and I’m a native Spanish speaker from Spain, currently living in Copenhagen for a university exchange. I’m in my final year of Spanish Language and Literature studies, which gives me a deep understanding of the language and strong teaching skills.

Education

I’m currently in my final year of Spanish Studies at the University of Copenhagen (KU). For the past three years, I studied at the University of Barcelona.
I also hold a C1 English certification.

I have been giving private Spanish lessons for one year. I also completed a course on teaching Spanish as a foreign language, so I’m familiar with different techniques and strategies to support effective learning.

The class consists of lessons where we discuss previously assigned works of literature, movies and TV shows. If you are a student, this class might help you in preparing assignments for your language and literature classes, as well as developing interpretative skills and critical thinking. In this sense, the class might cover anything from interpreting poetry to discussing 20th-century philosophy. The works we focus on is up to you and your needs as a student, but if you are more interested in discussions and critical thinking, I will come up with a plan that fits your interests.

I'm Aimee and I am a student at Københavns Universitet studying English Literature and Scandinavian Studies. Prior to moving to Copenhagen I was an English tutor for four years, teaching students both in and out of school. I typically tutor students from folkeskole to Gymnasium level and have taught those with additional needs such as dyslexia and autism and respect that some children need a little extra help with certain subjects. I recognise that different students learn in different ways and so I am able to tailor my sessions to their learning style. I am very successful with my tutoring and have helped pupils raise their grades from below a pass to top grades. I am enthusiastic and driven which I feel is very important especially as, from experience, when someone struggles academically they tend to distance themselves from that certain subject. By having a positive and passionate tutor alongside their revision, I've found that students tend to warm to the subject after only a few weeks even if they still feel they struggle. This positive mindset really helps to drive them to reach their full potential and achieve the grade they deserve. I am very excited to begin tutoring and I hope to hear from you soon.

Hello everyone! I hold a doctorate in Italian, have been teaching Italian for 5 years and hold a CELTA teaching qualification. I've been preparing students for the A-Levels and GCSE (language + literature). I can prepare you for specific examinations, language lessons in general or teach you Italian for business. The lessons are for everyone, whatever their age or level (children to adults). I will make sure that you discover the Italian culture through the lessons, learn the correct pronunciation and of course learn some grammar. I am open to your needs and can speak a few languages to make sure you understand fully the lessons (of course, we’ll try to use mostly Italian in all our lessons depending on your level).
