Hi, I’m Žiga, a Slovenian drummer living in Brussels. I’ve been playing drums since I was 16, and over the years, I’ve had the chance to perform in a variety of bands across different genres, as well as in theater productions. Teaching has been a big part of my life for the past 13 years, whether it’s been through one-on-one lessons or leading musical and percussion workshops.

I had the privilege of studying drums with the world-renowned drummer and percussionist Zlatko Kaučič, which shaped my approach to both playing and teaching. For me, music is all about listening—developing your ear and learning to connect with the rhythm and flow. This philosophy is at the heart of how I teach, helping students build not just their technical skills but also their overall musicianship.

Whether you’re a complete beginner or an experienced drummer looking to grow, I’m here to guide you on your musical journey and help you discover your unique voice on the drums.

As a student of rythm on Djembe you will be able to play along all rythm with the skills that you will earn from my courses the initiation of rythm and timing and for those who are interested to learn Bass Guitar you will learn the music theory and the harmony of the guitar bass so you will be able to play the tunes that you like or compose tunes for yourself so this courses will fit you if you are a composer or if you want to play tunes that you like. You can also learn with me one most spoken language from Africa, Swahili.
