Hi there. I'm an expert at adjusting to the level of the learner and providing lessons which focus on improving your spoken English and German. This also means teaching the vocabulary in the language you are trying to learn and applying it to situations you might use everyday.

Hi, I am Sandra, I speak German as a r language. I was born in Germany and I studied as a German teacher. I have learned several high-level speeches (French, English, Hungarian, Spanish) I can organize your tailor-made lessons, for example for an exam or for work.

My goal is to teach younger children/students the correct way of the English language. I have had precious experience with tutoring while I lived in Germany. During my time in tutoring,I learnt that children tend to learn faster and easier when enjoying a lesson. I therefore try to keep my lessons fun and exciting but of course, effective. My lessons included tasks like word puzzles, role play, quizzes etc. I provide worksheets, but I am open to helping out with homework they received from school or anything they are having problems with. At the end of every few lessons, I like to give a small exam on what was learnt the past few hours. Just to see what can be improved or What has already become a plus.

A diversity of materials will be provided, as well as online resources, all depending on the age of the student. As a German speaker with a C1 level, I am aware of the cultural implications of the language, even though I am not an expert in it, of course. I believe communicating with students in the language they would like to learn is key if they want to become confident in the language. Hence, I suggest doing skype classes or real life meetings at home or outdoors depending on your preferences and talking together will be very helpful for the student to improve in a particular language. I have been a counsellor in summer camps in Canada where I had to teach small children aged from 5-15 English. Some of them didn't even know a single word of English when they arrived. It was very hard but we managed to get to know each other, communicate well and believe me, their English improved a lot.

As French is my first language and I studied French until I graduated from high school, it's for me more than natural to speak French and teach it.
Having lived in Germany for a few years and having passed exams I was certified with the B2 Telc certificate in grammar.
