Hi, my name is Sara! Nice to meet you!
I am a Portuguese violinist studying at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp. Music has been a central point of my life since I could remember, and teaching is a big passion too.
I have taught music theory for many years, especially to younger students and I have been for a few years teaching violin and piano, from beginner to intermediate students.
I am a very creative person, interested in helping others grow musically through an engaging and stress-free class environment:)

I have been learning the violin and piano since 5 years old, and am currently taking a bachelor's in Music Performance in Violin, at the Royal Conservatory of Antwerp.
Students of any age are welcome, and I have special experience with beginner and younger students, having given a lot of lessons in piano and music theory.
I teach in English, Portuguese, Spanish, and basic Dutch.

The individual piano lessons are personalized and tailored to the progress and learning ability of each student. Emphasis is placed on developing good posture and ease of movement at the early stage. We will then continue to revise and enhance technique while taking on a more challenging repertoire as they progress.
Lessons are stress-free and I always try to provide a safe and calm environment for an engaging and fun class!
Games for little kids are an absolute must!

I have been living in Belgium for so many years now and have noticed that most people speak English and make grammatical mistakes in English tenses and grammatical errors. I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I have been teaching English for over 3 years to students who wish to improve their English language skills or become bilingual. All my students are satisfied with my course and those who had entrance exams have passed successfully. There is nothing like having English lessons with a qualified English speaker ;-) I have done all my studies in English and in the United Kingdom, I consider English as being my first language among all the other ones I have learned. Being a "native" speaker for me is meaningless, the qualifications are the most important as well as the experience (you could have a "native" speaker who makes a lot of mistakes because this person is not qualified in teaching).

The price of the lessons is moderate compared to the effectiveness of my courses. I use a variety of methods and can easily adapt to the needs of the student. I offer courses at all levels (beginner, advanced to university level) as well as English courses for IELTS/TOEFL, A-LEVELS or correction of written works.

I have worked with children as well as teenagers and adults. My 3 years of experience as a teacher in England have helped me to develop the qualities necessary to motivate my students and teach them effectively.

I can deliver the lessons online anywhere in the world.
