I am a Vietnamese native (born and raised in Hanoi) who has lived in the UK for 2 years, and now in my 8th year living in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. I am currently working full-time at an international Dutch company and tutoring Vietnamese is my favorite hobby!

This class will introduce you to various aspects of the Vietnamese alphabet, grammar, and spelling. I will also provide speaking practice at the end of every class. This class is designed for those of you who are interested in the Vietnamese language, as well as Vietnamese culture.

New vocabulary for each topic will be discussed. My study background is in Mathematics and Statistics, thus with the combination of languages you can expect 'a bit' of reasoning logic behind all lessons I give (which I think gives some structure to the lessons as well)!

Extra information

I will try to tailor the courses to suit the needs of the students, and for this reason, I hope that the students also have clear expectations and motivation before using the tutoring service.

Notes are expected to be taken during the class. Bringing a laptop is not necessary to the class, though you can also take notes using your laptop/iPad. The supporting language for our Vietnamese language class will be English

About Me

- I am enthusiastic and kind. I try to understand the students' way of thinking before guiding them to my way of thinking. I believe patience and a decent amount of time invested in studying would result in a good outcome for both the student and myself.

This is my first experience as a Vietnamese tutor in the Netherlands, though I had experience in tutoring the English language back in Vietnam. I have been tutoring the Vietnamese language for about 4 years.

I also have obtained my C2 level (IELTS) in English language, so English will be the main language of communication.
