Math is an essential subject to have a good grasp on, especially if you are interested in a STEM field. It is the universal language of science and can be used in many applications. I will be able to help young learners who are struggling and teach them tips and tricks to get better at math!

I will base my plans on the current level of the student to make sure that everyone is learning in the best way possible! I will teach a range of math from preschool to high school level based on what is required.

- I am a 22 year old master's student currently studying at Imperial College London. I used to tutor kids at my high school, same age and below.
- I like to asses where students are before I make a lesson plan in order to make sure all relevant concepts are taught well! I mainly teach by examples, breaking down concepts, and getting the kids to solve problems to see how they think and how I can work with that.
- I have some unofficial experience tutoring during my high school years and would tutor kids in many subjects, mostly math and chemistry.

Student at ESCP Europe since September 2014 after two years of preparation at Intégrale-Prépa, I am currently studying on the London campus of my school in West Hampstead, and I am looking for a job as a private teacher.

Involved, patient and organized, I have the right ingredients to be a pleasant and effective teacher and as such my experience in the field is a proof. It's been a year and a half that I teach very different students by their age - 14 to 20 years -, their social class and their level, and I always got good results with them thanks to my ability to adaptation and my sense of pedagogy.

My Monther tongue is French. I speak English since the age of 4 and my half-sister being English by her father, I am practically bilingual myself. I also speak Italian since the age of 13 but do not have a sufficient level to teach it.

I am available on weekdays from 4:30 p.m., Wednesdays and weekends from 2 p.m., with some exceptions, and I have the skills to teach middle and high school students, and possibly adults, the following subjects:

- Mathematics
- Economy and SES
- French
- English
- History and Geography
- General culture and philosophy

I am available to meet you to explain my motivations if necessary, and to show you my skills.

Voulant compléter ma formation par une ouverture sur le monde de l'économie au sens large et plus précisément m'intéresser à la gestion de l'entreprise, j'ai intégré l'ESCP Europe. Cette formation pluridisciplinaire permet d'établir des parallèles entre les différentes matières et de rendre concrets voire attrayants des problèmes mathématiques abstraits, en expliquant leur utilité au quotidien. Ainsi, comprenant le but des manipulations opérées et leur intérêt, on devient vite curieux et l'apprentissage est plus simple.

After two years of economic preparatory classes, I joined ESCP Europe and am currently doing my Master 1 at the London campus. I offer math lessons to high school students. I was for a year examiner of math glues in prep (oral exams to prepare the contests of the grandes écoles).

I taught too many students in Math and French language. My first key of teaching in both modules is the simplicity because the simple explanation the better understand and facilitate the key areas where students are struggling. Secondly, Identify new processes to teach the necessarily and provide full understanding of the concepts.
I assign homework, activities and games after finishing class to evaluate and revise what we learned previously.

Being a medical student and having achieved A* at A-level maths, I am well aware of the issues faced by students learning maths. I like to tailor my approach to the student I am teaching as I believe everyine learns in different ways.

I will be using different support tools to teach the student and regularly assessing the student to monitor progress.

I have gotten A*s in French, German and Maths A Level and am going to study Modern and Medieval Languages (German and ab initio Russian) at the University of Cambridge. I have done some maths tutoring in the past for a Year 4/5 student and a Year 7/8 student. I am enthusiastic about languages and maths and would love to help anyone up to GCSE level who needs some extra support in these subjects.

I had the opportunity to deepen these subjects through two years of preparatory classes at Stanislas (MPSI & PSI *) then an engineer training. I therefore offer a follow-up adapted to each one, with an emphasis on learning the course and exercises of increasing difficulty in order to work over the long term. This method works: the 3 students I followed last year all increased their grades in a few weeks.

I can go home in the Hammersmith / Earl's Court / Kensington and surrounding areas, or by videoconference.

I have always loved mathematics and I would like to share my love for the science with anyone who needs it. My goal is to make maths and physics simpler and funnier to study in order to help as many students as I can.

Usually, I first go over the lecture with the student, we read the principles and I take as much time is needed to answer any questions they might have. Then, we move on to exercises for the student to practice and apply what was learned in the lecture.
