So my teaching style is to try as much as I can with whatever resources are available, to get my learners to relate numbers to the quantities of items around them as well as shapes and curves of items in their immediate environment.

So far so good; I have had good results with my students and they continue to get better as they grow. I help them in their area of struggle by simplifying questions developing interesting conversations around numbers.
