Trusted teacher: Today, you can create an animated film from start to finish from home without depending on others. My methodology is based on this idea and it works! The only prerequisites to follow my training: open-mindedness, super-motivation and being ready to spend long hours drawing behind your computer/tablet independently. My animation style is based on frame by frame: that is, all character animations are drawn frame by frame. If you love anime (Japanese cartoons), look no further, I'm your man! Beginners are welcome, as are intermediate artists who would like to explore an alternative approach to that of animation studios (freelancers, students who wish to pursue their passions on the side). For animation, I prefer to start classes from age 12. (For young people who want to learn illustration, it is possible to take lessons with me from the age of 7.) We will look at the different stages: - Introduction (scriptwriting/storyboarding/cinematics for intermediate levels) - Creation (voice/music insertion/backgrounds/animation) - Finalization (post-compositing/audio and video effects) For the moment, I can only offer lessons at your home (Laeken/Brussels). The good news is that you don't need to invest in any computer equipment. I have everything I need at home. Programs: Clip Studio Paint, Photoshop, After Effects and Auditiion. (Clip Studio can be replaced with Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Animate or TV-Paint if necessary) Personally, I think it's more productive to take at least 90 minutes per session, but I leave that up to you.

Trusted teacher: Microsoft Office is now a virtually indispensable software suite for almost everyone, whether during our school years, through PowerPoint presentations, document creation with MS Word, calculations and graph creation in MS Excel, or during our professional lives. In the latter case, we need to get even more out of it in a minimum amount of time. Some may have noticed that it's possible to automate a series of actions by recording "macros" to save time. But have you ever considered that behind these macros lies computer code generated for you in "Visual Basic for Applications" (VBA)? Understanding this type of code and how it manipulates the "object model" associated with the application being used (for example, the worksheets, rows and columns, cells, and the values they contain, in the case of Microsoft Excel) allows you to go further in terms of automation and flexibility. The course is adaptable to the student and their level. Depending on demand and the number of sessions, it can cover the fundamentals of programming (variables, types, declarations, manipulations, local and global variables, etc.), illustrated using VBA, as well as best programming practices (error handling, using comments, standardizing variable names, code modularity), culminating in the creation of a project enabling interoperability between different Microsoft Office tools (for example, associating notes taken with OneNote with dates in a perpetual calendar created in Excel). It may even cover concepts such as object-oriented programming (polymorphism, encapsulation) and the differences between compiled and interpreted languages. The sky's the limit :))

Trusted teacher: As an experienced music teacher, I offer recorder and music theory lessons for children and adults of all ages and skill levels! Originally from Brazil, I have been teaching music for several years. A graduate of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, I have extensive experience as a music teacher, having given private lessons and taught in music academies in Belgium and elsewhere. I develop a unique method for each student so that they can learn in a solid and enjoyable way. The recorder is an easy instrument to learn, making it a great opportunity for children to begin their musical journey. It provides an initial introduction to musical notation and helps develop their ear. I offer students a fun and dynamic learning experience, where music is made from the very first lesson. For adults... If you're a beginner, don't worry! I will teach you how to produce the first sounds on your new instrument, how to blow correctly, how to adopt a good posture, etc. I will help you build, step by step, a solid basic technique that will allow you to play any piece on the flute. If you are an advanced student or already possess a solid foundation in your instrument, I propose working on refining your technique, taking into account each repertoire. We will explore creativity and sound to produce an increasingly beautiful and eloquent musical expression. Lessons can take place at the student's home or the teacher's home in Forest. Travel expenses are negotiable depending on the distance. Feel free to contact me to discover this magnificent instrument! Leila is such a lovely person and a superb teacher. My first lesson was on a cold wet day, and Leila offered me a cup of tea and sunny smile. I thoroughly enjoyed my first lesson. Leila was so professional and organised throughout, while also creating a relaxed atmosphere which made me feel very comfortable and allowed me to try my best with my basic Portuguese! 10/10!

Klaudia is a very positive, encouraging, warm teacher who is well organised with her lessons. The learning objectives were based on the specific knowledge I asked her to teach me and she was flexible to incorporate other elements that I needed along the way. Her grammatical knowledge of both German and English is exceptional and I would 100% recommend her to anyone.

Bastien is GREAT! His energy is so motivating and clearly, he loves what he does. My favorite part about our lessons is that he nicely "forces" me out of my comfort zone, and thus helps accelerate my progress. Also, like his improvizing skills and how he tailors the classes around my wishes and style. Highly recommended!
