In these workshops, I share the creative learning style I grew up with: each session explores a new material, technique, or concept — just like in a professional art atelier. 🌟 Why to join? - Grow your skills and explore different styles. - Learn how a real artist be trained. - Meet mind-liked people ignite the local art community Join any week — each session is independent, but connects to a bigger journey. ✨ Workshop Details: When: Every Wednesday, 19:00–22:00 (2hours guidance +1hour self drawing time ) Small Group: Max 8 people for personalised attention. 🎨 Not just a workshop — a creative journey. Each week we explore a new topic or technique — from line drawing, sketch to painting. Get to know materials: pencil, charcoal, acrylic, oil painting, Chinese ink. Dive in to various styles: Impressionism, Fauvism and Surrealism — just like in real art school. Every session is beginner-friendly and independent, so you can join anytime. It’s perfect if you want more than a one-time experience — and want to grow real skills over time. Most short workshops focus on just one thing — plant, portrait or landscape. But real artists learn to see and understand the principles. So that you can find your own way to create. In my workshops, we go deeper and learn the grammer of visual art: exploring value, color theory, composition and creativity through many styles. Think of it like an art school evening — but cozy, flexible, and beginner-friendly. 👩‍🎨My teaching method: I’m an art teacher with my own atelier, and I also teach at a local art centre. I run creative workshops for both kids and adults from all kinds of backgrounds. I love designing classes that mix hands-on technique with Art history. I’m really enjoying guiding people discover their own expression in art. My approach tend to be student-focused which also shaped by my international background. For me, it is important creating a welcoming space where people feel free and inspired to explore. Whether someone’s picking up a brush for the first time or coming back to art after years, I’m there to encourage them. Let’s spend this summer growing your skills, one brushstroke at a time. Trusted teacher: Private Painting and Drawing lessons, any level! I am a classically trained painter, I have been painting seriously for 20 years and studied intensively in Florence, Italy. I will teach you the basics about light, form, line, colour and space, and how to constantly grow and improve. We start with drawing from observation and continue to other mediums, including oil paint, once the student is ready. Landscape, still life, portrait, expressive. My goal is to help my students improve every time and reach a new level. I provide many examples from art history as well as my own work, and give lots of demonstrations. I offer a personalized approach fitted to each student. The classes are in a small group format, no more than 4 at a time and each student works at their own pace, it is private classes with other students present, offering a supportive environment in which to learn and grow. Each student receives personalized instruction at their own level. Each student is guaranteed to improve. I ask for a commitment of 5 lessons at a time to see some improvement, and I accept students who are looking for longer term learning. Commitment is a must to grow! Try out one lesson to see if the class is a good for for you. My students tend to stay with me for the long term, if it is the right fit. The classes take place in my studio in the charming location of Grand Hospice, a converted hospice in the city center of Brussels.

Trusted teacher: If you are reading this, it's not too late...you are in good hands:) Especially if you 're (going to prepare/ preparing) a portfolio for art/design school application. "Learning by making" From drawing, oil painting to creative thinking training through materiality. Each age is special and different visual styles can be worked upon and the outcomes can often be surprisingly authentic. Those anticipations are the basis of each class. My classes are designed through collaborations when it comes to experimentations or intersected fields and mediums, which is an option and pertinent characteristic of approach. Classes are applicable to students who are 16+ of all levels . Personal Portfolio Class: If you are considering applying for art school or design school, you might want to prepare yourself and build a convincing portfolio, perhaps improve your presentation skill or even some confidence boost for interviews. We will first explore what talents you already have and those you will want/need to have, the goal is to help you develop your creativity and curiosity as well as your artistic skills and most importantly find out your inner talent for a direction that will suit you, whether in education or self-development. And we will do a live rehearsal for your interview for the best presentation result and confidence boost. Overall, It'll help you cultivate the soft and hard skills you need to be more confident setting and resetting expectations, strengthening relationships, and taking your projects across the finish line without any cold sweat. For teenagers: are highly encouraged to experiment with different materials and techniques and preferably through themes - selected by me or the student's likings as well. We will also look at specific Artists and Painters, as well as specific Art History periods, and the kids will then be encouraged to play around and recreate their own version of the Artist or period. Needless to say that class do not necessarily mean free-time activity, the academic material is intentionally or not(unconsciously) always a present element of my instructive performance. Therefore, the game becomes a teaching/learning relation, whilst teaching and learning turn into a recreational joyful moment for all participants.

I spent a lovely couple of hours with Shoshana, where she taught me the basics of mixing scale and I attempted to paint my first shape. The class was a gift and I loved it, I’d definitely be back if I had more time.
