Intensive music theory lessons (rhythms in reading and dictation, reading of keys)
Music theory lessons, for children (from 9 years old) and adults. Passionate about music theory and music theory, I would be happy to share with you my enthusiasm for music theory, so unfairly devalued, due to the sometimes brutal methods with which it is taught. In the program : - reading notes (treble clefs, C clefs, F clefs) - reading rhythms (quarter notes, eighth notes, double / triple / quadruple eighth notes, triplets and other dotted notes) - dictation of notes (training your ear takes time, but when the exercises are "tailor-made" and progressive, you progress faster) - dictation of rhythms Do not hesitate to tell me the context of your request (competition preparation, repurposing of instruments, exams, etc.). The course durations offered are deliberately short to encourage maximum concentration. It will be essential to prepare the exercises offered between classes, to progress in a way that gives you satisfaction and nourishes your motivation. Classes available in English as well.

Harples and solfège lessons for each level. By an enthusiastic harpist. Student at the conservatory with experience in teaching.
I am currently a student at the Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. I'm in my third bachelor's degree. I have been taking harp lessons for 13 years with various renowned teachers such as Eline Groslot and Annie Lavoisier. During this period I also gained a lot of experience as a concert harpist. Including the second prize in the Concours Français de la Harpe (2017). And for 3 years I also give private lessons in harp and solfège. These lessons focus on both (young) children who want to learn harp and adults who want to start using harp. Each student is guided at his own pace and the lessons are adapted to the wishes of each student. Note learning lessons are also adjusted as much as possible to the student's pace.

Inspiring Piano lessons from a passionate concert pianist
Learning how to play piano with me not just about a skill you are going to master with me. It is about passion, love and discovering your new talents from a completely different perspective. It is about discovering your inner star and then being able to reveal it to others - it is why I regularly organize concerts for students at the best concert locations in Switzerland. Your level of skills does not matter - I have tailored programs for beginners as well as for intermediate level. I also help young pianists to get ready for exams to music universities and getting scholarships.

Beginner piano lessons for children in Zürich Area!
I have been playing the piano for 12 years and started teaching beginners (mostly younger children) 4 years ago. My goal is to find more young and excited students to pass the gift of music onto. Learning and attempting to master an instrument is an amazing privilege and I want to share it with more students. My lessons are enjoyable and educational involving both bookwork and some improvisational fun!

Alternative Piano Lessons: Learn by ear and have fun!
I teach Piano in a fun, laid-back and casual way, always structuring my lessons around the students' needs and tastes. Please note: I specifically do not teach piano with notations or scores of any sort. My method of teaching is based on playing by ear, with emphasis on the music and the joy in playing it, rather than the theory. Notation is great and theory is important - I studied these myself; however, I have found that learning an instrument by ear is a far deeper, enjoyable and progressive way to get to know your instrument. I also place importance on technique and memorization, again tailoring these to the needs and wishes of the student. My methods have proven very successful and I'm confident your playing will improve quickly! I teach both children and adults, teenagers and grandparents :-) Maybe you already play, but would like some help improving your improvisational skills? Or perhaps you are a complete beginner and just want to find out, if this instrument is for you? Get in touch! Some background to my instruments: Piano: I initially taught myself the piano and took lessons later on. My main or favourite styles on the piano are: Blues & Boogie Woogie, Traditional Jazz, Rock n' Roll, Pop and Soul. I love many forms of Classical music as well. Guitar: I taught myself guitar as a kid and play both acoustic and electric. My favourite styles on the guitar are, on the one hand, heavy Rock, Metal and Punk, and on the other gentle Jazz, Blues and ballads :-) Drums: this became my main gigging instrument between '10 and '20. I mostly focus on funky grooves, hard Rock or Metal, Pop, Jazz, Swing; some rudiments, lots of grooves :-)
