I teach you the basics of salsa, the techniques of guiding and following, the different basic turns, developing the musical ear and dancing in harmony with the rhythm. As you can see I know many kinds of salsa dancing, each one is unique and a lot of fun to learn!

Because I can dance as 'man' as 'woman' (in salsa there are different steps for the male and female roles) it doesn't matter if you come alone or with your partner.

The price is based on a one-time session, see it as a small workshop, in which I teach you the basics of the salsa you want to learn. From there we can see if you are interested in more lessons and we can agree on a cheaper price.

About Me
I am Esperanza,
I live in Turnhout with my fiancé and my lovely pets. I work for the Flemish Red Cross in psychosocial care. My passions are dancing and making music, I enjoy both equally. When I want to relax and change my mind, I find my piano and play the pieces that I like the most at that moment. Sometimes I take on the challenge of learning a new piece and it is very satisfying when I finally master that piece. I have benefited a lot from the private guidance in my younger years. Because of these lessons I can now enjoy the pieces I play without having to put too much energy and time into studying them.
Education
University studies in Maastricht, Netherlands and university studies in Wageningen, Netherlands - these studies have allowed me to do the work I do now.
Experience / Qualifications
I have been playing since I was 7 and have had private lessons for 11 years. I have given piano lessons at home and abroad, where someone was needed I offered my help. I have traveled a lot and because of that I speak several languages. But there is always one language that everyone speaks and that is music.

Have you always wanted to learn to play the piano? Or do you want to learn to read music? Maybe you want help with a difficult part? Or do you want to learn how to play without a blade?

I would love to help you with that! How do we get started?

We naturally start with an introduction so that I know what you want, what you can do and how we can proceed. Step by step without pressure or rush. I have a nice collection of pieces, both classic and modern, that we can start with and you may already have something in mind that you would like to learn.

I have had private lessons for 11 years and have been playing this very beautiful instrument since I was 7. The lessons are really only a small part of the musical growth. What matters is that you can enjoy the music you create yourself.

If you are interested, feel free to leave a message. The times are negotiable.
