ABOUT ME:

I have a BA degree in Teaching English and Translation, and MA degree in Teaching Turkish as a Foreign Language. I have also worked at the University of California, Santa Barbara as a Turkish instructor. I've been teaching English since 2001 and teaching Turkish since 2004 (in-state schools, at international language courses, and as a private tutor in multinational companies).

I have been teaching Turkish at all levels to students from various nationalities. I teach all levels from A1 (beginner) to C2 ( upper advanced). I began my teaching career (in Turkish) at well-known language schools such as Berlitz and British Side but then I chose to give private lessons. It is absolutely possible to achieve from the very beginning. By introducing simple, intuitive grammar and new words at the same time, you can quickly broaden your understanding of daily language and form your own sentences 📈 English shares many grammar concepts with Italian, what makes it especially pleasant to learn and teach. There are a lot of words that are almost the same as English equivalents like arrivare - which basically means to arrive.

In my classes we play interactive games that boost acquisition of new vocabulary and spend time in a fun and friendly way. If you wish, I may give some advice on where to travel in Italy based on my personal experience 🌍
