I'm a graduate of the Royal Academy of Music, London with many years experience as a professional soprano. I've sung with the Madrid Royal opera chorus and the Radio television in Spain and am an established International soloist in Baroque, opera and Contemporary music. I love to share my passion for singing and to help singers achieve a relaxed and secure technique. I like to work on different styles so the full range of colours and sounds can be explored. The voice is an amazing instrument.

Über mich

Everyone is born to sing. It's so good for us, for our physical and mental well being, and it's FUN! I've sung since I was born (literally) and love how it makes us feel happy and brings us all together. I started my company, Caprici Música in Spain in 2004 with the goal of introducing classical singing to a wider audience, mixing comedy and dance with opera, musicals and song. I think the best bit of the show is at the end when everyone stands up and joins in. If you have inhibitions or are an established singer with those 'imposter syndrome moments', I'm there for you. Singing is all about confidence and discovering the real you. Let's discover your true performance potential together.

Bildung

I obtained a choral scholarship to attend Truro School, Cornwall. England where I received classes in piano, voice and trumpet. I then completed my training at the The Royal Academy of Music, London, participating in the opera course, the chamber choir and the musical theatre workshops

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

Qualifications; GRSM (Hons) LRAM
I was first soprano with the Radiotelevision chorus, Madrid and 12 years with the Royal opera House chorus, Madrid. I'm a regular soloist with the Association of Spanish Symphonic Composers, Transbaroque and Diletto Ensamble in Valencia and perform musical theatre roles with BCC Productions, also in Valencia.
I've taught singing for 35 years preparing students for ABRSM exams, conservatory auditions and performance roles and in 2014 formed the Madrid International Choir.
