Hello. My name is Manuel and I am an English teacher living in Milan, Italy. I was born in Canberra, Australia, and my teaching experience consists of teaching English for six years and Spanish for four at the Australian National University. I hold a bachelor's degree in linguistics and philosophy and have developed a personalized, student-centered pedagogy. Experience / Qualifications
Spanish and English Teacher: The student-centered pedagogy I envisioned in my lessons, based on adaptive, individuated attention and delivery, escalated my students' semantic memory, focus, and enjoyment. For nearly two years, in 1 and 2 hour lessons, I employed a combination of vivid, dynamic communication skills and ambitious, challenging learning outcomes, succeeding in convincingly developing my students' knowledge of Spanish to competent, academic levels.The student-centered pedagogy I envisioned in my lessons, based on adaptive, individuated attention and delivery, escalated my students' semantic memory, focus, and enjoyment. For nearly two years, in 1 and 2 hour lessons, I employed a combination of vivid, dynamic communication skills and ambitious, challenging learning outcomes, succeeding in convincingly developing my students' knowledge of Spanish to competent, academic levels.
Drum Teacher: I taught children and adolescents between ages 9-13 aural rhythm detection, stroke techniques, rhythmic sight-reading, tempo detection, and dynamic techniques for hi-hat, snare and kick drum.
Music Production Assistant: I worked as an assistant at The Australian National University's School of Music's Recording Studio. Where I was in charge of audio recording, in-studio layering and post-recording mixing (such as EQ, limiting, reverb and clipping).
Musical Solutions: As a Music Producer, I led the creation, arrangement, and final production of custom music tracks for a variety of clients, including brands, media outlets, and commercial projects. Ensured all compositions aligned with the client’s vision and branding goals while maintaining high technical and artistic quality.
Whereas as Client Portfolio Manager, the primary point of contact for clients, overseeing project timelines, budgets, and deliverables. Built and nurtured strong client relationships by understanding their needs and translating them into actionable creative strategies.
Finally, as Music Curator, I developed tailored music selections and playlists for commercial environments, primarily marketing campaigns, and branded experiences, primarily tailored through Spotify. Worked closely with brands to ensure music choices enhanced customer engagement and supported the desired atmosphere or emotional response.
