My Approach and Expectations: I teach with the belief that discipline and dedication are essential for artistic growth. My sessions combine hands-on demonstrations, guided practice, and critical discussions to ensure students gain a comprehensive understanding of both technical and conceptual aspects of drawing. While I set high expectations, I also offer the support and tools needed for students to rise to the challenge. After most sessions, I assign homework to be completed by the next class. I certainly expect my younger students especially to complete these assignments. While my lessons are technical and follow strict parameters, there is plenty of opportunity for students to choose their own subjects and designs. I also highly recommend my student take excellent notes during my demonstrations and instruction time. I will always share my own notes and sketch journals so the student has a goal in mind. After a section of tuition has been completed (equal to a half term) I examine the notes and give feedback. In my classes I don't teach how to do Art, but as how to say something through your artistic work. With me you can work independently, with a coach who will challenge you with some assignments and giving feedback to your personal concerns. In addition, you will learn how to work with several mediums, preparing your own material: paintings, canvases, and so on. You will not only receive individual coaching but as encourage you to look other artists or take into account other references connected with your concerns. Egg tempera is one of the most ancient historical art painting technique. It preserved as a main technique to paint orthodox religious icons. It is possible to learn it and paint your own icon. I have 9 years of practice teaching people how to do it. We work together step by step to understand the technique, the way to prepare wooden panel to paint an icon and the techniques of making a good project to make the icon fit to the board. We also learn how to make gold leaf layer on the nimbs. Your icon will be a real, crafted icon.

Dear students! My name is Anna, I am an opera singer and a teacher of vocal and acting skills. I will help you unlock your beautiful and unique voice, prepare for music school, university, competitions, or simply enjoy singing as a hobby and express yourself through it. My goal depends on your goals, and my teaching strategy is based on the tasks we set together. I warmly invite all who have a passion for singing! A bit about myself: I graduated from the Kazan Music College (Opera Singer and Teacher, 2015-2019), and with honors from the Kazan Conservatory (2019-2023) in the Musical Theatre department. I was a soloist at the opera studio of the conservatory and am actively engaged in concert performances. My teaching experience includes working with children and teenagers at the Academy of Laughter, as well as private lessons for adults. I also coach dramatic theater actors in singing. I am a multidisciplinary artist and designer with fifteen years of experience. I studied art and architecture at the École nationale supérieure des Arts Décoratifs in Paris and the Columbia University in New York. I teach painting, drawing, digital image and creativity. This class is ideal for beginners but also intermediate students who want to develop their own style. For my personal projects, I work in a wide range of mediums, from drawing, painting and printmaking to digital image and 3D Printing. When teaching, I prefer to first focus on free-hand drawing and painting as this allows for greater spontaneity regardless of the student's technical level. We later explore other methods based on the student's individual interests. I like to teach children and adults via mini projects involving art history references and help them develop narratives around their work.
