About Me

Hello! My name is Eleana, I'm a practicing artist who also loves to teach painting and help others get into art and express artistically.

Each class I offer is created based on the personality and interests of my students, in order to make the learning experience both accessible and enjoyable. I take on the role of a guide and mentor rather than imposing strict rules, encouraging my students to see themselves as artists with their own distinct voices.

Regardless of their existing skills or experience, I aim to create a supportive environment for everyone, whether they plan to pursue painting as a career or simply do it as a fulfilling hobby.

I hold a BA(HONS) in Fine Art: Painting from Wimbledon College of Arts (University of the Arts London) and a Foundation Diploma in Art and Design from Network Foundation

In this class, you'll learn how to use the brush to draw beautiful flowers, plants and (self-)portraits, from 'wet on dry' to 'wet on wet' techniques.

The later is a technique that uses wet paint against wet paint or wet paper to create beautiful bleeds and blooms, allowing the watercolour paint to spread and blend. The results can be astonishing!

I am hold MA in Fine Arts, Painting and have been working predominantly in oil on canvas. I also work on paper a lot in my own practice.
I have an excellent knowledge of paintings and drawing techniques and am really good in conveying my expertise.
Apart from tutoring live drawing and painting, monitoring student's progress through assignments and feedback sessions.
As I am also a contemporary curator, I provide portfolio reviews.

I am a Goldsmiths BA Fine art second year. I do paintings and scultings mainly and sculptural paintings. I love to understand and feel the materials and use the materialities' characteristics and histories to symbolise meanings in my work.

My class would be suitable for potential young childrens or teenagers who are interested in art or want to get into art. As art is the language for me, I would love my students to enjoy and show their creativity in my class and I would help them to develop and create actual works in real life.

There would be no pressure in this class I have experice of tutoring 10year old child and he was enjoying every class. He had ADHD and showed ADHD behaviours during class but as a neurodivergent person I gave him a breaks during classes and talked about his interests so I could figure out what he is interested in so I could prepare next class for him and at the same time the kid could had his little refreshment from doing art work. And I had 1:1 meetings with their parents because they wanted to know how it went and how he was behaving so I gave her a lot of feedbacks from my perspective (I did let her know it is from my perspective) .

My dream is to be an artist/ art professor(university tutor) as I also had mental health issues so I am aware of how to deal with people who should I take more care of and also as a neurodivergent person I could deal with neurodivergent students:)

I am an RCA MA Painting graduate, and I have a BA(Hons) degree in Fine Art from Westminster University, and a Foundation diploma in Art & Design from the University for the Creative Arts. My recent solo show was at Class Reiss London, and I also had a solo presentation at Art Athina. My fascination with tutoring derives from my sensitivity around learning disabilities, something which is a recurring theme in my practice as I grew up as a dyslexic learner, as well as my educational experience of being part of leading academic UK institutions.
