I am a qualified English teacher from England. I obtained my bachelor's degree in linguistics at Lancaster University (UK) and will soon have my master's degree. I run private English classes for individuals and siblings. Economics classes for University level students will be based on student's needs (some suggestions: Econometrics, Microeconomics, Quantitative Economics). For school students, it can involve advanced learning or basic Economic knowledge (aligned to student's needs). English classes will involve writing and speaking practice (based on the student's existing knowledge). I tend to explain things pretty well. I always try to assign homework for further practice. Times can be discussed with me and I do accommodate students based on mutual availability.

In my classes of English, Spanish or Dutch you will be talking immediately thanks to the specific pedagogy I use. I put you into your learning objective context and explain grammar 'by experience', using role plays, synonyms and explanations in the target language. Moreover, you will be using vocabulary straight away and progress significantly in this way. Specific technical language such as medical, biological, business or other language are possible too and will be agreed upon while we do the intake needs analysis by phone.

It is important that I know how the lesson is taught by the teacher. That is why I always prepare my lessons on the basis of the teacher's workbook. Then I teach from the very beginning. I am convinced that you can never build on things without a good foundation. Does this base not work? Then we'll just start over until we get the hang of it! For a further build-up in difficulty I fully adapt to the pace of the student, this is important to be able to remember everything in the long term, such as for a test within a few days.
