In our music lessons, together we find small goals connected to our daily lives. The goals can be different for everyone, but we will think our music making beyond our lessons rooms - it will boosts your motivations! You can expect a lot imageries and creativity in our lessons; it not only make us more musical, but it helps our motor skills as well. We sing and play all kinds of music, alone, with me, and if you like, with other students as well. If you find a nice piece that you want to learn, you can always bring it as well. We will learn a bit of music theory and solfege, and if you want to have more emphasis on them, we can do that, too.

My musical studies started at age 4 with church choir and piano. At 9 I heard a lute on a CD and immediately fell in love with its sound. My dream to study the lute was then realized at the age of 13, but that was so long to wait for 4 years! That is why I love to teach children as well, especially the lute, because I know there are kids out there who are so eager to learn! I love to teach the guitar as well. If you are not sure about what you want to learn but are just curious, feel free to contact and tryout as well. Everyone is welcome.

Playing the lute is becoming a new trend among little children now. The beauty of its harp-like sound makes practice time a soothing moment for the entire household! It’s possible to play even without knowing how to read music. Children develop various musical skills on it; good ears, theory, ensemble playing, improvisation, etc. Lute Constellation offers lute lessons for children as well. Music has always been my biggest passion and I really enjoy sharing it with other people. My main music genres are pop, rnb, ballades, a bit of jazz, and soul.
I can read musical notes, but I mainly play by ear (which can be learned too!). I am into music theory and how it helps to understand what one hears and plays.
When it comes to singing, I know some basic techniques and can help with pitch, harmonizing, control, and feeling comfortable/confident when singing.

I am a student at the Koninklijk Conservatorium in the Early Music department, the beautiful and special instrument Harpsichord is my main subject and my passion. I am offering harpsichord, piano and solfège, lessons, on top of music theory for beginners and intermediate levels at home and also online.

With over 15 years of teaching experience, I offer private guitar lessons in many styles for all ages and all levels. I am also an active performer, mostly performing my own singer-songwriter music in the folk-rock genre. Classes are offered in English, Dutch and German.

I am from Los Angeles originally where I received my degree in music with a minor in Classical Guitar from California State University, Northridge.

I have been playing guitar since I was 11 years old. Back in those days, I was mostly inspired by rock music, learning to play by ear by listening to the radio. Later, I went to Conservatory and studied classical music, therefore learning in a more structured way. This gives me a unique approach to teaching, because I understand playing by ear and feeling, as well as having a background in music theory. It is a mix of these two worlds that I offer in my lessons. In this way, my students progress quickly while having a basis of how music works so that they can continue to grow for endless years to come.

My approach to teaching is to get lasting results for the students and to make sure they have a great time. The lessons are light and joyful, as music should be. I work hard to make sure my students experience the rewards of reaching new plateaus regularly as they progress. It is also important to me that my students play songs/pieces that they enjoy playing. We will discuss your musical tastes, or work to discover the musical tastes of your child.

Anything that is part of a fundamental understanding of music, e.g. music theory, solfège, rhythm and piano will be taught. For me it is very important that the lessons is specifically made for the students regarding content and length. If asked violin and ballett can be taught as well. In that way the necessary aspects of a well rounded musician can be built up.
