My name is Quique Ramírez and I am a drummer, composer and professional educator. My lessons are aimed at all types of levels and ages.
In your classes you will work on technique, sound, independence, grooves, etc. You will also learn to play along with your favorite songs or with other musicians (in case you have a band).

I finished my master's degree at Prince Claus Conservatoire in Groningen (2019) and it gave me the opportunity to study in New York with high-level musicians.

I think that the best teacher is yourself. Therefore, my classes are oriented to transmit the knowledge of how to approach the study, the posture and the technique, but with objective of being yourself who is the real mentor in this procces. You are the teacher.

Lessons are adaptable to the student level and need.

3 mains subjects: Drum kit, latin instruments (congas, bongos, timbal...) and classical instruments (marimba, vibraphone, snare drum, orchestra repertoire...). Students have the option to follow just one main subject or do a combination regarding their need or learning wish.

Every student get an individual study plan regarding the reason they want to learn this instruments.

Preparation for music certification and conservatory entrance exam are posible.

Latin percussion lessons for beginning and advanced percussionists.
General percussion is also welcome.

For example, congas, bongos, timbales, handpans, kalimbas, and shakers.

We look at specific styles such as Cumbia and build it up together so that you can play along with backing tracks or songs on your instrument.
