My name is Laura. I am from Barcelona and I've been teaching Spanish, among many other subjects, for years and to students from very different ages. Now, I'm currently studying "Psychology, Politics, Law and Economics" in the University of Amsterdam, so I offer my services as a teacher to those who want to improve or learn from the very beginning.

I'm coming from Barcelona, where I am studying Philosophy, Politics and Economics. Now, I'm in Amsterdam as an exchange student in PPLE (Politics, Psychology, Law and Economics) at the University of Amsterdam.

Bildung

At high school, I had an average grade of 9,77.
I've always been good at school and, especially, at languages. For this reason, I enjoy doing classes and also receiving.

Erfahrung / Qualifikationen

I've been giving particular lessons for 6 years ago in subjects such as: math, Spanish, English, Catalan, philosophy, and biology. My students were young people, most of them were at their first years of university or preparing for their entrance examinations to the university.

Being a native speaker from Barcelona, Spain I will teach you important vocabulary and grammar, as well as how to talk Spanish until you sound like a native!
For me it's very important to have engaging and fun classes, so you get to feel how amazing studying Spanish really is! We will talk a lot, play games, write recipes (and maybe we can even make them)! Anything fun you can think of, we will do, but in Spanish!

Always wanted to learn Spanish, but the regular lessons go too fast and/or it doesn't stick, then follow these tailor-made lessons.

Why class for 40+, because we have learned from our own experience how difficult it is to learn another language later in life and that most books/courses are based for younger students.

All lessons are adapted to your individual needs and speed.

You do not need to purchase any books, all materials will be delivered by email. This is because we work with several books and in this way we can offer a lot of learning material and thus make the learning material varied (and also rehearse more often if necessary.)

There is no minimum or maximum number of lessons, you are the one who determines the frequency. Of course you can also do these lessons with your partner.

Lessons are given online via Skype and last 1.5 hours at a time.
Lessons can be given during the day or in the evening.

I use grammar books but also online exercises or games on paper depending on the needs and profile of the student.
