I am Italian, and I have recently completed my PhD in the United Kingdom, where I lived for many years. I have been teaching at university, and other settings, for several years. I have formal training in language teaching and education, and I am an associate fellow of the Higher Education Academy. I value interactive and collaborative learning, with lessons and objectives mutually agreed to best suit the needs of each learner. I like coming up with dynamic and stimulating activities, exploring authentic material like news, podcast, music and popular media.
