I specialise in teaching English for school, including both SAT and GCSE. I am also Cambridge CELTA qualified to teach English as a second language to all levels focusing on speaking, listening, writing and reading. My goal is to focus on the students needs and weakness while encouraging their strengths. My passion is teaching and being an English teacher, I am a graduate with a degree in English Literature with the dream of teaching in mind. I am very outgoing and enjoy preparing very effective lesson plans for my students. I have passed the Cambridge CELTA course and follow their lesson plans. I have tutored students in the past for GCSE English preparations. I also currently study Japanese and have studied Chinese at university. My lessons will cater to my students needs and strengthen their weakness and will perform and learn the necessary skills required. In my lessons i ensure that my students are comfortable with what they are learning and know how to approach different possible questions. I have worked in a Children's day care and have taught students 18+ therefore I can teach any age and any level. My lessons will overall, allow the student to feel more comfortable in answering future exam questions and effectively progress their knowledge.

I have over 4 years of experience in teaching and tutoring English as a second language. I am currently a PhD researcher at King’s College London and run this tutoring business on the side, as I enjoy motivating students to learn new skills and overcome challenges.

I have studied English language and literature for all of my academic life and being multi-lingual (Fluent in Dutch and Sinhala), I understand how difficult it is to learn a language as a complete beginner. I am a 22 years old Belgian Female who recently moved in London in order to pursue my law studies. I completed my bachelor at the University College Maastricht in the Netherlands, and have acquired a lot of tutoring experience over the past three years. Indeed, alongside my studies, I have always dedicated some of my time to tutor French/English/Dutch lessons to people of all ages.

My lessons are taught in a way as to encourage my students to live the language they want to learn. I give considerable importance to improving one's verbal abilities, and my lessons are structured as follows:
